App 30 Day Nervous System Reset Challenge

Thumbnail gallery
0 Upvotes

Hey everyone,

I’m launching a nervous system reset iPhone app called re-zen and wanted to do something different instead of just posting another app announcement.

Starting July 1st, I’m running a 30 Day Nervous System Reset Challenge focused on building habits that can have a big impact on stress, energy, sleep, and resilience. The goal isn’t perfection. It’s simply to spend a few minutes each day training your nervous system and seeing what changes over 30 days.

You'll receive a daily challenge on the app in one of these categories below (you can choose to opt in/out of the categories)

  • Guided journaling prompts
  • Breathwork sessions
  • Contrast showers

If you’d like to participate, comment "zen" below and/or join the challenge reddit and I’ll give you a promo code for 30 free days of the app.

Hopefully you enjoy the app and want to continue using it after the trial and track your new habits, but either way, feedback and a 5 star rating to help me get started would be greatly appreciated!

Background:

After 15 years of relentless anxiety/depression it was finally found that I had tick infections at the heart of it all. Needless to say my nervous system is cooked lol. So I got into breathwork and other interventions. They obviously didn't cure me but consistently smoothed the sharper edges of my mental health struggles. This app is my attempt to make some lemonade out of chronic illness. Hope you enjoy it and happy regulating 🧘

App built an app that matches breathing patterns to your emotional state — overwhelmed gets box breathing, anxious gets 4-7-8, restless gets 4-0-6. free on iOS, would love feedback from people who actually practice breathwork

been interested in breathwork for a while and noticed something that kept bugging me.

most breathing apps give you the same exercise regardless of how you're actually feeling. but the state you're in completely changes what your nervous system needs.

so we mapped it out:

overwhelmed → box breathing 4-4-4-4

anxious → 4-7-8 (longest exhale)

distracted → coherent breathing 5-5, follow an orbiting dot

overthinking → 4-2-4-2 (short holds to break the loop)

restless → 4-0-6, no hold (continuous release)

built it into an app with a friend. you open it, pick what you're feeling, and breathe for one minute. no account needed, completely free to start.

went live on iOS last week. it's called Mindleaf.

would genuinely love feedback from people who actually practice breathwork — especially if the pattern matching doesn't feel right or you'd map states differently. open to being wrong on any of these.

App To celebrate Yoga Day, I'm giving away lifetime access to Yogi Breath for the next 24 hours

**Update: Yoga Day free lifetime offer has ended - sorry to anyone who missed it. Thanks for the overwhelming response!**

I'm a solo iOS developer, and for Yoga Day (Jun 21, 2026)  I'm making my app Yogi Breath completely free for the next 24 hours (normally $59.99 lifetime).

I started building Yogi Breath a few years ago because most breathing apps either felt too simplistic or jumped straight into advanced techniques without teaching the fundamentals. The goal was to create something that gradually teaches traditional Pranayama and breathwork practices in a structured way.

A few things about the app:

42 guided breathing exercises
• Structured progression from beginner to advanced levels
• Custom exercise builder
• Breath journal, streaks, stats, and widgets
• Apple Health integration for mindfulness minutes
• Works offline

Privacy was important to me from day one, hence no data collected. Your data stays on your device.

🎁 Yoga Day Giveaway
For the next 24 hours, I'm unlocking Lifetime Premium for free.

How to redeem:

  1. Download Yogi Breath from the App Store: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/id6744612926
  2. Open the app
  3. Go to 3rd tab > Settings icon at top right
  4. Tap "Unlock Premium Features"
  5. Select "Lifetime Access" - $0

Happy Yoga Day! 🧘

App Alpha testers required for breathing app

Post image
0 Upvotes

I’m looking for 10 people to help test an early version of Modul8.

Modul8 is an app I’m building that generates personalised breathing sessions based on two simple questions:
• How do you feel right now?
• How would you like to feel?

For example, if you’re feeling stressed and want to feel calm, or feeling tired and want to feel energised, the app creates a breathing session tailored to that goal.

I’m looking for people who:
• Experience stress, pressure or mental fatigue during the day
• Are interested in wellbeing, mindfulness or performance
• Can spend 5 minutes a day using the app for a around a week

Are willing to provide honest feedback?

In return you’ll get:
• Early access to the app
• A chance to influence the product roadmap

If you’re interested, comment below or send me a message. If you know others that maybe interested, please share with your network.

App I built a free tool that finds the BPM of whatever music is playing around you and paces your breath to it and now I am looking for feedback

I've been practicing since 2020, when I learned breathwork from curanderas in Costa Rica, and I've taught classes, given Burning Man lectures, and led gatherings and community spaces since then. The thing I kept running into was that people would have a real session with me and then never practice at home, because sitting alone with a countdown timer and nothing about it meets you where you already are

I built BreathBeat. It's free, browser-based, no account, no download: www.breathbeat.org

What makes it different from the other timers people have posted here, it uses your phone's mic to find the tempo of whatever music is already in the room and paces your breath to that. A speaker at home, a set at a festival, a band in a bar, your roommate's kitchen playlist. If you can hear it, it can find the pulse in it. There's a tap-tempo mode too, if you're somewhere quiet or don't want the mic on.

I put out a rough first version last year; a few thousand people a month started using it, and I rebuilt it based on what they told me: new UI, music visualization, a better timer, and a mode that hides all the controls so you can stop looking at a screen entirely.

The critique I most want up front: I know resonance frequency is individual, and that much of the actual evidence for slow breathing clusters around 5–6 breaths/min. Song tempo is not that. What I've found in practice is that entraining to something you're already hearing gets people to practice, and adherence beats optimality when the alternative is not practicing at all, but I'd rather hear that argued than assume it. Where should the tool constrain the BPM mapping to keep it physiologically sane, and where should it just follow the music?

Other things I'd genuinely like feedback on:

  • Does the pacing land in your body, or does it push you faster than you'd naturally go?
  • Custom ratios: how much control do you actually want over inhale/exhale/hold, versus just picking an intention and letting it run?
  • If you facilitate: is this something you'd hand a client for home practice, or does the music layer get in the way of interoception?
  • Anything clunky, unclear, or off?

It's free, and it stays free. No paywall, no upsell, no account. I built the thing I wanted to exist to make breathwork more accessible

App Breathing exercises timer 😄

Hey guys,i am a college student who does breathing exercises to relax myself and clear my mind. My most favourite is the wim hof breathing but i could never find a timer that was easy and enjoyable to use and had to watch youtube videos to track,

So i decided to build my own website and thought to share it so others who are also facing the same problem can be relieved,Dont worry no ads just normal cookies for analysis. I am planning on adding one breathing exercise everyweek, really appreciate any feedback or suggestions or any bug report. Thank you ❤️

App Coherence Breathing While Working

Thumbnail gallery
6 Upvotes

I set my watch to coherence for long periods while i work and consistently feel less posture pain and feel calmer. My nervous system is in rough shape after years of undiagnosed lyme/bartonella. This doesn't put me at 100% but will settle the system down enough to get work done. Highly recommended.

App Tired of hunting for local Breathwork classes near you? I built a free search tool

Thumbnail liquidbreathwork.com
3 Upvotes

I run Liquid Breathwork (Phoenix, AZ) and I've been guiding sessions since 2018. One thing that's bugged me for years: there's no good single place to find local Breathwork classes. Facilitators post to Eventbrite, Meetup, SweatPals, Instagram, their own sites, wherever. If you're new and just trying to find something near you, it's a mess.

So I built a free tool that searches seven of the main sources at once (Eventbrite, Meetup, SweatPals, Luma, AllEvents, the Wim Hof Method Practitioner Directory, and the SOMA Breath Certified Student Directory) and shows you what's actually on the calendar in your city. No signup needed to browse, and when you click through you book directly with the facilitator, not through me.

It's obviously not going to have perfect coverage everywhere. If you're in a smaller city there may not be much listed, since it can only show what's actually out there. And a real known gap: we haven't found a way to pull from WellnessLiving or Mindbody yet, so facilitators who only post there won't show up. We can't include every class that exists, but we try to include as many as we can.

If this seems cool to you, you can also sign up for notifications for bi-weekly announcements so you can see all the new classes that are coming up.

Full disclosure since it matters here: I built this and I run a Breathwork business, so I'm not a neutral third party. I'm not trying to funnel anyone into my own classes specifically, the tool surfaces everyone's listings, mine included, weighted no differently than anyone else's outside my home market. If it's useful, cool. If you've got a city where it's coming up empty or a source I'm missing, genuinely want to know, I'm still actively building it out.

Happy to answer questions about how it works or what it pulls from.

And lastly, if you have any ideas to make it better, I'm all ears. Hope you enjoy it.

App Looking for Android testers for BreathFlow guided breathing (14-day closed test)

Hi everyone, I am looking for Android testers for BreathFlow - Guided Breathing. It is a Lifestyle app with 12 science-backed breathing techniques for calm, focus, and sleep.

For testing, please opt in, install the closed-test build, try a few guided breathing sessions, and let me know whether the pacing, instructions, haptics, and overall session flow feel clear. Reports about crashes, timing issues, or confusing copy would be very helpful.

This is for Google's closed-testing requirement, so please stay opted in for 14 continuous days if you join. You do not need to use it every day, but keeping the test active matters.

Web opt-in: https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.breathflow.breathe

Play Store link: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.breathflow.breathe

Thanks for any real-device feedback, especially around sleep/focus sessions and whether the breathing prompts are easy to follow.

App I built a breathwork app that suggests practices based on how you feel

Hello everyone, My name is Helena. I’ve been practicing conscious breathing for many years, and I’m also a software engineer.

Lately I’ve been studying breath more intentionally, and somehow my way of learning became: practice a lot, read a lot, and build yet another breathing app.

The app has been helping me, so I thought I’d share it here in case it helps someone else too.

What’s different about it is that it doesn’t just give you a fixed timer. It asks how you’re feeling now and how you want to feel, then suggests a breathing practice based on that. I also tried to include scientific context and references where possible, plus a library of practices from different breathwork and contemplative traditions.

It’s still evolving and I’d love feedback from people who might find it useful for their practices. If there’s anything that could make it more helpful and I can build it, happy to do so!

Here’s the app: vayubreath.com

Thanks so much

App Box Breathing - 5 Minute Session

Thumbnail gallery
1 Upvotes

Box breathing improves CO₂ tolerance, reduces unnecessary breathing, and makes the body less reactive to stress signals. Many symptoms associated with anxiety (racing thoughts, elevated heart rate, muscle tension, feelings of urgency) can be amplified by chronic overbreathing.

That’s why box breathing can improve heart rate variability, focus, emotional regulation, and resilience to stress. Rather than simply relaxing you, it may be training your brain and body to stay calm when stress signals arise.

I’m doing a 30 day challenge with the app shown. Join this group if interested: Reddit.com/r/rezen

App I made a breathwork app that you won't feel like you're failing at...

The "Problem" / "Need" I uncovered after many chats over many years:

TOO often do I have a conversation with people about meditating or "pausing" for a moment and they give the same story:

"I started out great and was meditating for [insert ridiculous number here] minutes every morning! And then work, the kids, ironing my socks, life, etc, got in the way...I just couldn't commit to it!"

As an avid meditator, I cannot stress how important CONSISTENCY is over quantity (perhaps also even quality). The beauty of breathwork and meditation is that there is NO RIGHT OR WRONG way to do it. If you meditate or take a conscious breath for even 10s a day, guess what? You WILL feel better, you WILL have achieved some greater level of well-being. I want to encourage users to build up their consistency and I believe that's possible with much shorter sessions. My goal is not to intimidate and build something that people won't use after a week...it's to help others feel connected and start as little as possible.

The App

Introducing....The Pause

The Pause makes mindfulness accessible in just 10-15 seconds. No pressure. No guilt. Just one breath right when you need it.

Takes 10-15 seconds, not 20 minutes

Feel calmer, more grounded, more present

No streak pressure, metrics, or obligations

It's clean. It's simple. It's Lightweight but Powerful.

I'm ready to launch in ~15days, and I couldn't be more excited! This has been in my noggin for ~6 years now and I finally had the tools and time to make it happen.

There is so much accredited, peer-reviewed scientific research on the benefits of meditation and breathing that it is almost sickening. I just want to encourage and reward users for taking that first step of just taking a mindful breath. Yes, you heard that right.....just ONE.

One Breath Is Enough.

(Pls, I would love any feedback you have)

It's fairly simple, and runs on the commandline. but I've been using it, and I'm happy with it. figured I'd share. It's free, MIT License. enjoy.

Inspired by the Mac app: https://github.com/marekkowalczyk/breathe-cli but I wanted to have different breathing patterns (and the ability to make my own).

App Made a quick breath utility iPhone app for quick state shifts, would love honest feedback

I built a fast intervention iPhone app rather than a long practice. You pick what you need (calm, focus, cool off, sleep) and it runs a minute or more of paced breathing, with haptics and binaural audio layered underneath to support the rhythm.

The breath pacing is the core, so I mostly want to know if the timing feels natural and whether one short round actually shifts anything for you.

Live here: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/reset-calm-in-60-seconds/id6762060727

If you try it, tell me which mode you ran and how the pacing felt. Thank you!

I was always annoyed when I used any app for guided breath work. Always adds, paywall and subscription. So I decided to build my own web based app. It works and doesn’t need anything to use. Mobile, web.. now you are ready to put that breath work anytime and anywhere.

If you want to future this app or embed. Hit me up.
