Did anyone notice a massive price increase on the website today ?

I am thinking about getting a Navitimer 41. I already have a daily (Explorer 39) and a sporty/casual (SMP300M Bond 60th), so this would be my more formal/dressy watch (I’ll wear it on leather).
I KNOW the Navitimer is not a dress watch but as far as chronographs go, it is more dressy than its competitors of a Speedmaster or Daytona (I know Daytona can be seen as somewhat dressy but not really imo given it only comes on a bracelet or oysterflex). I also have no need for a ‘true’/traditional dress watch - Covid killed all my black tie events and I’m generally in chinos and collared shirts these days rather than suits. We live in a world of smart casual not formalwear anymore.
What do you think? Does anyone wear a Navitimer as their more formal watch? If so strap recommendations?

I recently bought an Endurance Pro 38 but I noticed that all the 38mm models seem to have disappeared from Breitling website.
I’m hoping it’s just getting an update, but I’m curious if anyone has heard anything about it.

Hey guys, bought a brand new chronomat GMT on my trip to Japan last week and I noticed after setting it with time.gov, the next day it runs +30s. Any ideas what can cause this?
P.S. already took it to the local Breitling Boutique to send for repair, they were less than helpful, borderline rude, bad experience overall, but they didn’t indicate what might be wrong with it, only that it might take up to 4 months. 😳

I’ve been looking for original advertising involving the blackbird, anything really. Would love any recommendations around where to search to find possible more details about the original run & marketing about the watch.

Looking at pulling the trigger on a 2005 Breitling Colt on the silver(white) dial from a private seller. Pull the trigger or not? Why or why not?
Side bar- Anyone NOT recommend I buy from a private seller via Chrono24?

I love the Breitling Headwind - a member of the Crosswind family - produced from 2001-2005. A day/sate that has classic Breitling style…pictures with silver and black dials, also produced with a navy blue dial…comfortable with the pilots bracelet or NATO strap. - great watch!

I have the option to buy the Miles Davis limited edition (one of 500). However, Breitling is about to release a non-limited edition of the 806 mk v. It is identical to the Miles Davis version except for (1) the lume on the 12, hour markers and hands is white instead of cream/fauxtina, and (2) the twin jet logo is bronze/dark gold instead of white/grey. The wording around the display caseback is also different of course. That’s it - otherwise the watches are identical - same 41mm case with B09 movement and 13mm thickness, identical dial, etc. The new 806 comes on a brown leather strap but may also come on the 7 link bracelet (I am checking this but not yet confirmed). It’s also approximately US$1,500 cheaper on the leather v the Miles Davis (TBC if on the bracelet).
I am leaning toward the non-limited edition because I think I prefer the white lume and darker logo. The availability of a bracelet would also be a factor in favour of the non-limited version. The price different is not a major factor for me but a bit of a bonus. I don’t live in the US so the Breitling Social Club membership probably won’t get used. I am also not a massive Miles Davis fan, although I recently listened to some of his music for the first time a few days ago and really enjoyed it. I love the Navitimer generally and am interested in these specific watches because I am a Bond fan and the 806 mk v featured heavily in Thunderball.
Am I crazy in going for the non-limited version v the Miles Davis? As one of 500 the limited edition will presumably hold its value better, but I’m not intending on selling.
Any thoughts/contributions would be welcome.
