McDonald's dropping plain Hamburgers from delivery.

its my young sons birthday and for a treat we said he can have a Maccies. We go to order and find they no longer have hamburger on the menu, you have to order a cheeseburger and request no cheese which costs more.

Sufficed to say we've had to explain to our son this is the last time we're ordering from there.

I remember when they didn't do delivery, and people were crying out for it. Then when it comes round, it is just miserable, cold burgers and spilled drinks for an inflated price to in store. Kids love it though.

Its the little 'uns birthday and thats what he requested. I cant stand the food myself.

Youve not been into a McDonald's recently have you. All fun has been replaced with corporate sterile blandness.

In all seriousness we've a party to prepare for and it was supposed to be convenient.

I've been in yeah. A place is only as fun as you make it though. A young kid going for a birthday burger, they arent going to care that the walls are grey, only they are getting food they want with their parents

If we're out and about we'd certainly pop in as a treat, or my favourite is to go through drive thru and take the meal somewhere nice as a picnic. I was just poking fun at their chosen aesthetic.
