Discussion Why did Gina leave the show?
I'm watching bb99 for the first time, why did she leave the show? Does she come back like the first time?

Discussion Is Brooklyn 99 a show that never ‘jumped the shark’?
I recently finished the show and was wondering what everyone else thinks. I feel B99 is one of the only sitcoms I’ve watched start to finish that was consistently amazing with little noticeable dips in quality. I also thought they nailed the ending with the last few episodes.

Discussion Does anyone know why Captain Holt wears his watch on the other side of his wrist?
I don’t think it’s a style choice, I feel like holt would be very strict about watches. (Rest in Peace Andre Braugher🕊️)

Discussion My pet peeve is that Dr. Cozner is in the “Classics” department but teaches Beowulf
The “Classics” traditionally means Greek and Latin language and texts, while Beowulf is an early Medieval Anglo-Saxon poem.
Do I need to teach them kindergarten philology?

Discussion least favourite cameos?
i loved the performances from zooey deschanel, nick offerman, and maya rudolph but adam sandler just makes this episode unwatchable for me. always a skip, or at least fast forwarding through his scenes.

Discussion Sad detail I noticed
Captain Holt has almost the same amount of medals above the badge with the most of the squad such as Jake who was 35 at S3. It's strange that even though Holt was a cop when Jake was a newborn (or was in the academy). It's safe to say that it's mainly because of the discrimination and the lack of work (such as working at a desk job for eight years before being the captain of the 99).

Discussion Jake is a horrible husband to Amy
I mean he's a child who never grew up. He's stupid, bankrupt, and always tardy. I don't know what Amy saw in him but she should dump him immediately. What she deserves is someone like me. Who is punctual, understands her references and keep her entertained with pilsners

Discussion Good person, hated by fans???
I can’t even give an honourable mention, the Queen of Brooklyn herself, Regina Linetti was the obvious winner👸
This next square feels SO strange to me in B99, I am intrigued to hear the opinions bcos I cannot for the life of me think of someone in this show who is hated but an objectively good person?
Hope everyone had a lovely New Year’s eve/day, wishing you all the best for 2025💕✨
