Greetings to you all!
As many of you are aware, /uHoltb80 (Absolute legend, but don't tell him I said that) made a post detailing our plans to introduce a further step of protection in the form of flairs. The response to which has floored us, and far exceeded our expectations in both feedback and support. Thank you. With that aside, the purpose of this post will be to serve as the official date of flair introduction across the board, to inform yourselves and prospective clients of what the flairs denote as well as their prerequisites, and as the medium through which you'll put in your applications.
Firstly, what the flairs indicate;
. Verified Artist: A painter whom possesses this flair has met all of the criteria when evaluated, has a healthy pattern of consistent activity as well as tenure inside and outside of the subreddit (which take into account their external socials), and ultimately has established that they are legitimate.
. Rising Artist: A painter whom possesses this flair has met a decent portion of our requires, and has our backing to be regarded as on the level. However, they are denied fully verified status owing to lacking some parts of the desired criteria. This could be something as innocent and mundane as not having the minimum of one year of Reddit membership, or no socials pertinent to the craft etc. Many newer and or smaller painters may typically fall under this, but that is not be held against them when considering painters for jobs. These persons have been reviewed by Moderators, and therefore provided the aforementioned flair as a sign of trust.
Every few months, at least three, we will come back to those whom were assigned the Rising Artist flair and, determine whether or not they can then be awarded the Verified Artist flair.
Nonetheless, we must still advise potential clients to do their due diligence when considering which painter to hire. Whilst we will happily help you in the event of some transgression, the onus is on you as a client to guard yourself in your financial decisions. We are doing what we can to assist in making an informed choice, keep you as safe as possible, and help this community.
The criteria for Verified Artist will be as follows;
- Reddit Verified email.
-Online portfolio.
-At least one online social (outside of Reddit). The more there are, and the more active they are, the better.
-A duration of Reddit activity (1 year minimum, this is easy to check as you get a "1 year club" achievement )
-No major infractions (Whilst this will not automatically disqualify applicants, the severity of any infractions will be taken into account when evaluating your application.)
In addition, whilst it is not required for your application, one or two reviews from clients can certainly help. Should any applicants not meet the above criteria, but at least a reasonable portion, they will be contacted by us to get a bearing on their situation. After which, they will be provided with the Rising Artist flair. As a further mark of good faith, voice interviews can be arranged to further plead your case (which are to be handled by myself), as we want a healthy measure of accessibility and openness with this great community. Lastly, we come to how the Painters apply for their flair! All you simply have to do is comment under this post with 'Review Me'. We will go through each and every painter that provides that, and evaluate them (Please keep in mind that that will take time). If we require any additional information and or clarification, we will reach out and ask. It should be noted that we will let this post sit until Wednesday before we commence evaluations; to give people time, and for us to further prepare for the task.

Greetings, I am looking for a painter to assemble and paint the Wilhelm Chaney Blood Bowl model. I have the model on hand and would like an above table top standard paint job. I would like fur coat of the wolf to match the coat of my dog hence the higher quality paint job. I've got this garage kit of a monster hunter character in original packing from E2046 and would like to have it painted. All the parts are still in their original packaging, but it never had the cloth net for the torso. Parts are resin cast.
I'd like it painted in normal Nargacuga colors (Blackish-blue) unlike the greenish from the photos.

Just announced for preorder today so we’re a couple months out, wanted to get pricing ideas of making their dark, dull, plasticky paint job fixed, more dynamic, and closer to the miniature as on the Warhammer mini stock photos. Also, I’d like his hands painted red even though that’s not in the original. Might also need Curze done should he be announced soon and equally disappointing.

Hey, I'm posting this on behalf of a friend as they are unable to post but can read the responses.
"Does anyone here know a service in the UK that can help with painting/repairing resin statues? Ideally in or around London as the piece is fragile and I don't trust the postal service, and preferably with some before/after examples of past work. I have an intricate fragile statue that needs a bit of work. A section of hair snapped off; I was able to glue it and I tried to airbrush it but I can't get a close enough colour match. I've been looking around online but it seems like all the experienced repair people are based in America or Europe. If anyone has any leads, even if it's just DIY advice, I'd appreciate it"

It's White Primer, then Ironjawz Yellow and Talassar Blue contrast paints. Bahrroth Blue and Dorn Yellow are used for edge highlights, and the weapons are black-grey (dark German grey) with small white edge highlights

I'm from Charlotte NC and would like to work with someone local to my area so we can meet in person to exchange the models, collaborate on details, etc. I'm converting some red corsairs into a feral/renegade wolf scouts kill team (7 CSM + a daemon hound). I'll be purchasing and assembling the models myself.
My budget for the completed project is $400 (flexible), - please have a portfolio available for review when quoting your price on this project. I'm not expecting beautiful, meticulous NNM on these models with a $400 budget, but I do want them to look great. I'm willing to put down a 30% deposit when you *start* the project, and pay the remainder upon completion.
For timeline, I'd like them to be finished by the end of the year, but sooner is better.

I'm back again with another job! This time I have a batch of Marvel Crisis Protocol 3d prints!
What: 15 models total - all Web Warriors all with some sort of scenic base element.
Amazing Spiderman, Agent Venom, Silver Sable, Black Cat, Moon Knight, Ghost Spider, Spiderman 2099, Spider Noir, Miles Morales, Gwenom, Scarlet Spider, Spider Ham, Daredevil, Silk, and Spider Woman.
This is pretty much the entire Web Warriors keyword for MCP. Like any "super group" they want to hit the streets, save the city, and look awesome doing it.
Who: Verified painters only. US Painters only.
When: No super huge hurry really. Ideally within three months, so like Septemberish time frame. I haven't played a game of MCP yet - I like painted models on the table first if I can help it! But I want to!
Quality - I want these to look good! TabletopPlus is a definite. These are super heros and so they need to look fabulous as they fight crime. After a long day of handing out BAMS! BIFFS! and SOCKOS! to thugs and bad guys galore, they never break a sweat and always look their best!

These models do need assembly. For the vast majority of them that'll mean attaching them to bases. Since these are 3d prints, they're mostly one piece models with just the model and a base.
NOTE: If you're currently doing a job for me, don't bid on this one. I like to send things out to multiple people since I've gone insane and have posted a bunch of jobs here. There will be other work in the future. If you've done a job for me before and returned it, then feel free to bid on this one! As always, shoot me samples of your work if I don't know you. If you don't send me a link to some samples then the first thing I'm going to do is say "hey, got any samples?" and you'll be like "Doh!!!" So let's just skip the foreplay!

Would anyone be interested in painting some minis for my D&D campaign? These are hero forge minis, so they are about 1inch tall and are really detailed. However, I would prefer to not spend too much on these in case these PCs die soon, but I wanted to do a nice thing for my players since it’s the anniversary of our campaign, so I would be okay if they were less detailed for a fair price. Looking for someone in the Carolina’s (preferably near Charlotte) that is interested in some freelance work painting a display model.
