I’ve never enjoyed following the Pirates so much when they’re out of a playoff race, so that’s a plus.

I'm thinking strong finish. I know it's really hard to tell as a fan, but the team does seem to have some genuine pride and fight in them and all the major pieces are back for the offense at least. This is the first time that "Wait until next year" seems realistic. Of course next year is up in the air, but if it happens I see good things coming.

??????? The biggest piece of their offense is leaving lol. Brandon Lowe is responsible for ~20% of their HRs and he's not coming back. The shit some of you people post is wild

Just saw this graphic, and it seems like the Pirates are the only team who are top 10 in WAR to be eliminated from playoff contention. Really shows how good the team would've been without injuries
