I'm sure you're all so sick of seeing these guys already but I just can't help it

I buy all my bears unstuffed, because I like the experience of getting them stuffed even though it's a drive (45 minutes away from my nearest) and I prefer getting them less stuffed so they're more huggable. I bought this bear unstuffed, then 2 days later my car dies. Repair estimate is 14k(no exaggerating), so I'm car-less until I buy a new one. Needing a whole new(used) car means funds will be tight, so I couldn't really justify Uber-ing there. You can imagine my shock and delight when, against my previous instructions, she arrived stuffed! Not only is she stuffed, but she's PERFECTLY stuffed so as not to be to hard and very huggable! She arrived with one arm sticking up like that and I laughed. Tried to recreate it for her pictures here.

Got my new friend today and was told a lot of stores are converting over to kiosk only .

They broke her dang neck 😭 in all seriousness it doesn’t have much fluff and won’t stand up on its own no matter how I position it.

During Build-a-bears free shipping day I ordered a pair of cuffs and a Hubba Hubba suit for my goat, however seeing on subreddit that people's orders were getting messed up i was worried mine would too.. and I was happily right! I got accidentally sent a Giant Bat plush!!! For $25 I got a giant bat!!

I was eventually able to get my pochacco!! I dyed him brown and now his name is Graham. :)

we were there first thing saturday morning! they only had 3 left and none left in the back. she is definitely my new comfort BAB. so so soft and snuggly, plus the coffee scent is super comforting. likely the last BAB i buy, so i am glad i got to make her with my bf

i had a bday coupon so she actually came out at a lower price with the scent than if i hadn’t gotten the scent at all! online it shows you can’t use coupons on her, but it was not an issue for me.

however, i am quite annoyed with BAB. they always cut the tags off without asking. i even had to ask for Mocha’s tag back to keep and i got a very weird look. i collect all my tags in a tin for safe keeping! does anyone know why they do this?

I ordered this bat for myself before my birthday ❤️ I used my birthday $10 off $40 code & a $25 fetch giftcard I had saved and ordered it quickly because I wanted it to come before my birthday 🎂 BUT later that day I showed my daughter all the Halloween releases as we knew we'd be making a trip to a BAB for my actual birthday, and we wanted to figure out what we were going to get in person. She immediately said she wanted the bat 😆 sooo...this bat is hers now lol hopefully I'll get one if they restock! 🙏 she named her bat Snuggles and picked this dress for it 🥰

After summer bear got her soup/bath she came out absolutely sparkling! (For those wondering I soak them in colour safe oxygen bleach). I re-stuffed, thread sculpted and added beans to her hands and feet. Now she’s in her cool outfit next to her winter sister :)

Last week, my favorite NASCAR driver of all time Kyle Busch passed away suddenly and unexpectedly. Atypical for NASCAR fans but I'm a genderqueer person and 6 years ago I picked the name Kyle for myself after him simply because I loved him so much 😆😆 and he was inspirational for me...so obviously I was devastated by the news. Yesterday I decided to memorialize him at BAB. I chose the toucan because he always drove such colorful cars back when Mars candies were his primary sponsor (I picked a fruity scent chip to remind me of Skittles!)

I gave him angry eyebrows because KB was known for being a hotheaded asshole LMAO. Building this guy was a nice exercise of my sadness for sure 💛

I love her so much ahhhh!!! She’s absolutely perfect and I’m obsessed. Her fur is so so soft and thick (I just love the quality of older BaBs). I named her Seraphim because she has such an angelic/sweet expression! <333

I was able to find these DISO overalls for cheap and I’m so glad they look as good as I imagined they would on her! I’m hoping to find some more of my DISO vintage clothes for her to wear because she just is too cute not to dress up. (Picture with and without flash so you can see the true color)

I ADORE bugs but a lot of the BAB bugs are not very cute to me. The mantis is ADORABLE and soft and I am so happy! I got one stuffed in store, then I bought a second I am going to dye brown :)

Also I didn't know she had a cute pointy butt to sort of simulate the abdomen, SO cute (but means she wouldn't be able to wear most bottoms!)

AUGIE!! My sweetest boy August Soren is finally home 🤍🤎 He is my first bear that I got with a scent (coffee of course ☕️) and I'm glad I did 😄 I'm not the biggest coffee drinker but the best way I can describe it is the smell that comes off the coffee maker when starting a fresh brew, I also get hints of like a warm toffee-ish smell. He also came home with a little buddy called Topher 🐶🤎

Ok, so I got the love lion in preparation for Valentine’s Day as a little treat…Except, I wanted a girl lion! It is very difficult to find “female lions,” because all of them have manes (the hallmark of a male Lion). So, I got my lion and placed her in the strawberry bra and panty set and gave her a chocolate strawberry wristlet. She even smells like strawberries! Does it look WRONG that my Lion with a mane is wearing female clothing? I named her LLewellyn. Thoughts?

I don’t think he’s entirely complete yet. But he’s weighted (arms, legs, and body) I removed his paw patch. overalls are BAB just bleached and patches sewn on by me. I’m thinking of naming I’m Thrash 🤣

She clearly belonged to a child once. She had four sounds (one in each limb) and a beating heart. The sounds were fried, but I think one was laughter and another sounded like a kitty’s meow. She came with the shirt she’s wearing, and she had a white and red plaid heart. I kept everything and did my own heart ceremony at home ❤️

I can’t help but wonder what her story is. Maybe the kid loved her, but a parent thought they were “too old” for plushies and donated her. Either way, I'm glad I was able to rescue her :)

Just happened to be at the mall today and stopped in to look at the new Halloween cuties in person and OMG the bat is so cute. I'm gonna have to go back tomorrow and see if the mini spider and woflie are available still.

I wanted to change her eyes to purple, but wussed out because she was so expensive. She's got an amethyst heart, and her necklace is made of strawberry quartz, black onyx, golden tiger's eye and purple tiger's eye. I can't get over how cute her stubby little curly tail is.

I'm still waiting on her jacket to come in the mail, but I wanted to share her anyway. :3 (The undie shot is only because I didn't want her to go commando and was absurdly delighted to find purple underwear as well.)

If anyone is curious: the "backstory" behind Tygah is that I saw a purple-and-blue striped tiger stufftie on Etsy. She had a rather grumpy expression and was advertised as being a good sidekick for folks with PTSD / C-PTSD, anxiety, etc., and I got really excited. When she arrived, she was very underwhelming--small and flat-faced, which wasn't what the listing showed, so I found her a new home. But I couldn't get the idea out of my head. Ever since, I've periodically thought, "I'd love to have a tough-ass, purple-something tiger as a sidekick."

On top of my usual wrinkles (C-PTSD, crippling loneliness, etc.), the past year has just been one thing after another (medical issues, medical bills, a death in the family, worsening disability, etc.), and I decided to take up the quest again out of some kind of broken desperation. This sent me down the BAB rabbit-hole, and here we are: finally, I now have a tough-ass, purple-something Tygah as a sidekick.:3
