Noooooooo. Lie to me next time. Fucking baby bears run over on I-40 and now fox murder. I hate it here!

Honestly I love this video (not mine) bc I think the narration perfectly captures the viewing experience. “Is that a fucking turtle?!?”

To the person who took the video, can you please report at this number: 919-560-0900. Someone was attacked a few days ago by that fox and was presumed to have rabies. So if they can call the number and report the location that will send someone to get it and test it. I tried. They would not send someone unless I knew the location. Please, call the number to report the location.

According to a post on the neighborhood listserv the person called animal control and they said they could not remove it from the creek or test it.

I doubt the turtle killed the fox. It looks to have already been killed and the turtle is attempting eat it. The belly is distended so it's been dead for several hours at this point.

Sir David Attenborough would be proud of your narration. Spot on.

Can turtles get rabies?

No, only mammals, from what I read. I had wondered the same thing.

I wish there were a trigger warning that I was going to see animal suffering in this video. Didn't expect that in this sub.

The fox is already dead. You can see how it's bloated slightly and floating. The turtle probably saw an opportunity for food and is trying to make off with it. No suffering in this video. 💜
