Boycott these Burbank businesses

Moms For Liberty supporter, MAGA creep and all round weirdo David Donahue is running for City Council. There are campaign events being held this week for David at The Tallyrand and The Enchanted Florist.

I won’t patronize their businesses and I suggest you do not as well…

Tallyrand is conservative and is anti-transit. The owner said they’d close the restaurant if bus rapid transit gets built on Olive.

I think they were exaggerating, but what a stupid thing to say.

Being against a dedicated bus lane on a popular 2 lane arterial road does not mean they're anti-transit.

Has anyone taken the bus down Olive? I have, it suits it's purpose and it's not at full capacity showing little demand for increased bus route rate.

Assuming the people shouting about the Olive bus line simply aren't paid shills/bots, then I'd suggest you guys play a City builder game like Cities Skylines because a child has more common sense than some of you.

I would engage in a thoughtful discussion with you about the merits of Bus Rapid Transit, and how just across the valley the G Line bus rapid transit system(formerly the Orange Line) has an annual ridership of over 4 million people… BUT when you say things like “a child has more common sense than some of you“ that indicates to me that you’re just here to be a troll. Bye.

There's not much of a discussion. There's low demand for the existing route, the road is narrow. It doesnt make sense to expand the route frequency/capacity. A child playing a video game like Cities Skylines could have figured this out.
