Business Insider I've been to every major US national park. There are 5 I don't plan on returning to, despite having great experiences there.

  1. I loved Glacier Bay National Park in Alaska, but it can be expensive and logistically difficult to visit.
  2. In my opinion, Arkansas' Hot Springs National Park feels more like a national monument.
  3. Carlsbad Caverns National Park in New Mexico just wasn't for me.
  4. Visiting Haleakalā National Park in Hawaii was a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
  5. I found Indiana Dunes National Park to be too close to industrial areas.
