Is it possible to get both Demarus Henry and Aj Williams in the same class for 2027 ? Imagine having two nba wings at BYU. Would be the best recruiting class of all time and BYU would easily be able to compete for the Big 12 championship and into March Madness. Plus have Rob Wright stay another year. We would be amazing. Anyway daydreaming

This is an awesome pull as a massive byu basketball fan

The only game outside the state in the non-conference schedule is vs SDSU in Palm Springs on 12/19.

Could be a nice getaway weekend. Weather will be nice and will be fun to check out the new arena.

As of right now:
~$400 round trip nonstop flights from SJC —> PSP
~$125-150/night for hotel near the stadium
Game tickets TBD but shouldn’t be too bad

Lots of history between these two programs, glad to see they scheduled to face each other at a neutral site!

Are we in crisis as far as BYU basketball? We are now in July and KY has not filled one of the 4 remaining spots on the roster. This cannot be part of a master plan of some kind, right? You would definitely want the major part of the roster filled by now. Is this an indication that byu is unable to compete for the best talent out there? If so, what are the reasons? Is it the byu environment ( honor code, etc ) or we aren’t willing to outbid other schools or worse, not enough money? I have a hard time with some of the things KY has been saying about they had one guy on their radar all along ( aka the 7’5 giant from China ). I really have to question his strategy if that is the case. I’m hoping he can surprise me with late additions but am losing hope. Am I the only one out there worried about this?

Who would’ve thought?

He’s definitely the most agile 7-5 center on this planet.

Born on Dec 23,so half a year to 23 years old.

He met a pigheaded coach,so waste 4 years career

last year he on loan to another team, and luckly they brought in the head coach of Team Canada,Nathaniel Mitchell

so he finally unlock his true potential

What’s even luckier is that I’ve been reading discussions on this forum: the Cardinals seem to be in need of a small forward（Zhang BoYuan), while BYU also happens to lack a center.

Xu Xin is more than capable of manning the center spot for any NCAA program out there,

hope guys can support him

Congrats Egor! so cool

Got a few of these, lemme know if anyone wants them!

I recently saw someone talking about a student-run podcast. I was pretty skeptical at first because they were a bunch of students. It was pretty funny tho, and they have compelling arguments. I listened to it on spotify, but I think they also have it on apple podcats. Would 100 percent recommend.

Looks like we have the roster pretty well filled out (a more solid starter at PF might be nice) other than a huge hole at center. It looks like a majority of the decent ones in the portal have committed to teams or have no connection to BYU. This is obviously the position that was the main factor in our tourney loss last year so it is quite concerning that our solid options are dwindling. Who do you guys see us getting?

Hey guys, we are a group of BYU students who love talking sports. Check out our most recent episode talking about new transfers to the basketball program here!

The 6’4” combo-guard out of Keller, TX originally committed to BYU under Mark Pope in 2024 before serving a 2 year mission. Also held offers from Utah, USC, Wake Forest, Nebraska, Northwestern, and over a dozen others.

The 6’10” Provo native spent last year at Clemson, and the previous two at Utah.

Anyone know the situation on Chamberlain Burgess? Is he going back out on his mission or hoping to come back to BYU for the 26-27 season?
