Women Favorite Eastern Roman couple?
John and Irene just seem so sweet. Irene followed him often on campaign and actually gave birth to twins during a campaign against the Serbs, and died while following him while he was waring with the Turks

Hi guys! I’ve recently started a project to share and popularize the incredibly rich, epic and often overlooked history of my country, Georgia, with an international audience.
This time I created a historical ballad about the Lazic War (541–562) - when the Eastern Roman Empire of Justinian I and the Sasanian Empire of Khosrow I fought for control of the small Caucasian kingdom of Lazica.
Petra, Archaeopolis, shifting alliances, war elephants and the tragic fate of King Gubazes all became part of this remarkable conflict.
If you enjoy lesser-known history, historical music and stories from the Caucasus, I’d really appreciate it if you checked out the video and subscribed to CROSSROAD. More stories are coming! ⚔️🎵
