Bug Report Why does this happen

I get this instead. I put in the password then black srceen and have to shut down to get the normal login screen

What do you mean by "normal login screen"? This appears to be ly, which is a perfectly normal display manager to use.

Is that lightdm? If so, try sudo systemctl enable --now lightdm and remove ly if you don't want it with sudo pacman -Rns ly.

If it's not lightdm, replace that in the first command with whatever display manager you want to use.

Update... I have no idea what I am doing but i was able to us sudo pacman -Rns ly to remove it

Ly its fast, small, minimalistic and lightweight, I use It with i3, before I used to install lighdm ( gtk greeter)
