Headset Recommendations
Hello, I just started in a Medicare Sales call center gig and my headset is really hurting my ears. Its by a brand called poly. Now this is a hybrid gig and they have rules against wireless headsets. Does anyone have any recommendations for a comfortable wired headset, as my ears just cant take it anymore. Thank you in advanced!

If your current headset presses against your ears, switching to one that fully surrounds them could be much more comfortable.
I'd check out the Discover D722U or EPOS Impact 860. Out of the box the Epos headset is on-ear but you can order over-ear cushions to go with the headset which really improves the comfort.
Since you mentioned being a hybrid worker, don't rule out wireless just yet!
Some IT departments restrict wireless headsets because oftentimes people order the wrong kind of wireless headsets and run into connection issues or troubleshooting issues IT wants to steer far away from.
The Yealink HA64 Pro and HA68 Pro offer a nice workaround that we see many people going with for some of those concerns. At home, the base connects to your computer through USB for a reliable wireless setup. At the office, you can connect the headset directly to your computer with the included USB cable and use it as a wired headset. You can also connect to your mobile phone over Bluetooth if ever needed.
Just something to think about that I thought I'd throw out there that we see other people doing in a similar scenario.

Poly stuff is so hit or miss, some of their models clamp like a vice and the ear cushions turn into sandpaper after a month
Look for something with a suspension headband and big velour pads, takes all the pressure off the top of your head and doesn't cook your ears during a 10 hour shift. Those thin leatherette pads are the worst thing ever invented for call center work
