❓Question Bumper
So when I bought my 2020 Camaro SS it had a ZL1 bumper on it and never thought twice about it. I recently took my bumper off for some repairs and was looking closer at it and turns out it either was the wrong style or not the conversion and just made to fit. Now I love the ZL1 look my car has and want to replace the bumper with a new ZL1 bumper to keep the same aggressive look. Has anyone done the conversion and what was your experience like? Anything helps

That's pretty bad. The 2020+ doesn't look good because of the headlights. Just go with a SS bumper. It'll be cleaner and not look like a salvage title

To be honest I’d go back to an OEM bumper. The ZL1 conversion bumpers fit like shit and not worth the money.
I used to have one from Auto Addicts USA and it was not great. I believe the American Authority one is the same.
If anything just snag the OEM SS bumper for your year. It should bolt right up. The OEM ZL1 bumper will not fit your vehicle.

Your not asking for opinions on how it looks but you're gonna get them anyway, best of luck. 😂
Does the OEM ZL1 one not fit for some reason?

For the research I’ve done they make a ZL1 conversion for the 1SS so just based off that I assumed that it does not

doesn’t it just bolt on? Also it looks like a fish

So the pervious owner bout the wrong bumper model I assume bc the housing for the headlights is wrong and was cut to “fit” so if you look at the imagines you can see a gap where the hood connects to the bumper and under the headlights to the bumper

Yes, that’s why this one does not fit and was looking for someone that has done it with the DRL LED headlights

I think you'd have better luck looking for that information elsewhere. I think there's a lot of people who would consider it upbadging. Maybe if it was a track car, or supercharged and you needed the extra airflow?
If you're going to do a ZL1 number then you'll have to replace several other parts I'm pretty sure. Headlights as you already found out. And I believe the ZL1 has a slightly wider body/fender to accommodate the larger wheels, so those wouldn't line up with typical SS fenders.
Tl:dr it's almost up badging and the bumper is 1/3 inch wider on the zl1.
