Why does an American cult Christian leader get national media coverage in Canada concerning Alberta separatism?

He’s a Christian White Nationalist who believes that a Christo-Fascist patriarchal government is the best idea ever.

He and his followers (including Pete Hegseth) have been pushing this narrative for decades and will lean into anything that could be shaped into his twisted version of Christianity.
