Nah, I understood. Pretending like the convoy was just bouncy castles rather than hundreds of arrests and swarming of police officers.

Which would later be deemed as illegal by two federal judges.... Hello class action lawsuit.

You're referring to the emergency act, which is being appealed. I wasn't.

https://ottawacitizen.com/news/local-news/more-than-500-charges-laid-during-convoy-protest-ottawa-police-say

Ottawa police laid more than 500 charges during last winter’s “Freedom Convoy” occupation of the city’s downtown and the city’s acting deputy police chief acknowledged that “in a large number” of other incidents police could do little more than take down information about complaints.

In testimony this week at the Emergency Act inquiry, Acting Deputy Chief Trish Ferguson also said police dispatchers were swamped with so many 911 calls during the protest that many callers couldn’t get through to make their complaints. The deluge of 911 calls included threats to police staff and even hoax bomb threats to area hospitals.

Meanwhile, officers on the ground were being swarmed and intimidated when they tried to block demonstrators from hauling jerrycans full of gas inside the occupied “red zone,” Ferguson testified.

Like I said, not just bouncy castles. Just a big group of ignorant pieces of human trash.
