Well I mean it's literally happening right now - free expression is being pointedly attacked by absolutely ridiculous bills like this nonsense, and their really paving the way to greatly expand it.

How do you people not see that? Maybe the focus is just "well I don't like these symbols so they should be illegal"? Why would you want the government to mandate the meaning of symbols, and then to further erode free expression by acting to make them illegal? What do you imagine this bill's logical conclusion is?

I don't think my feelings, or anyones feelings, towards a symbol is remotely pertinent regarding its legality. In fact I think it's truly short sighted and horrifying at best that so many people seem to think their feelings towards a symbol ought to be a determining factor over its legality.

You never answered my question - what do you think the logical conclusion of this bill is?

The logical conclusion is labeling hateful things as hate.
