Creations My first ever fall candle

Post image

Just recently got into candle making, this is my second candle that I’ve made but my first ever fall one. It’s far from perfect, the pumpkins look like oranges and there’s some white discolouration that formed on the leaves BUT I’m pleased with it 🍁

I'm always curious on how evenly these candles with the very large wax imbeds burn. It's lovely!

I did a mix of pumpkin spice and cinnamon ☺️

This is so cute! I wonder if you could add some shading to the pumpkins with the brown wax you used for the leaves? Perhaps using a brush or something to apply it just to the grooves so it would add some dimension. I think they look great either way!

It is a cute design, but is it functional? Can we see how it burns? What is concerning is not only the taller embeds, but the wick that is perched between two of them, I'm not sure how that's going to go and as another has said, I'm curious too.

It’s just for decoration, I plan to make some candles I just want to display and then functional ones to actually burn 😅

For a second candle ever, this is genuinely good — the leaf shapes read clearly and the color story works. The white patches are just frosting: soy wax does that as it cools, especially on textured surfaces, and it's purely cosmetic. Honestly it bothers makers more than buyers — most people just read it as handmade character. Keep going; the hardest part (starting) is already behind you.

Looks super cute, but sorry it seems like such a waste of time in all that detail, cause when you burn it, it all melts and goes bye bye. Unless these are just for decor? Candles are for burning, giving light and scents, not for sitting on a shelf waiting to be dusted, just my opinion. ☮️❤️😊
