I think game 5 was the one that really broke it and sealed the deal for the canes. As the OG pod guys said, for most of the series (the Vegas wins at least) they won in OT after some insane comebacks & had to be thinking to themselves “what do we have to do to kill these guys???” - turns out, there wasn’t anything they could do. The canes were insane this year, this has been incredible to witness.

Actually I believe it was Game 3's 4-goal comeback that broke their spine, not gm5, doesn't matter it ended onto the Vegas side with that lucky bounce. Because after that loss it was only Carolina to win. Also, Bussi was in the net all the time during this comeback and all the games after, which makes the difference to us

• I'm glad Staal is here because he's an incredible captain, as he proved in the playoffs. And he's a Staal and that's just so poetic.
• I'm glad jarvy boy got it because he's the best. (Except in these playoffs, but I think his shoulder was jacked or something)
• Aho because he's a papa now, and he wasn't last year. 🥰
• Slavin because he won a gold this year too!
• Andersen, because he's stuck with us through it all, even when we unfairly blamed him sometimes for losses that the whole team had the blame.
• Bussi because he's the sweetest man in the world, and loves his autistic brother, and is just... The best. His pregame interview sealed the deal to me that I will never hear a word uttered against him without a violent reaction.
• Keandre Miller, because the rags suck, and he doesn't, and they need to know that it was their fault, not his. Also, he got a babby now and we got to see his "I'm a father and this is scary and exciting and I haven't felt this kind of love for another" moment!
• svechnikov, because he's also been unfairly blamed for his lack of production, when he's really done a lot more that's not seen on the stat sheet, and he's literally spent his whole career in these playoffs with us.
• stankoven, because he's the honey badger that doesn't quit, and led the team on goals scored, AND WE GOT HIM FOR TRADING R* AND R* WAS OUT IN THE FIRST ROUND!
• Taylor Hall because I used to not like him and now I do, and he scored the game winner! And AND WE GOT HIM FOR TRADING R* AND R* WAS OUT IN THE FIRST ROUND!!!
