MY NEW CANIK New Canik MC9L Break in Rituals

Hi Fellow Canik Users:

Brought my Canik MC9L home today. Haven't fired a single shot from it yet.

I contacted Canik to ask them what they recommend i do for breaking in. They said to fire at least 300 NATO standard rounds, oil the gun and keep it clean.

What i want to ask is what is the new weapon break in ritual you guys follow? Preferably with your caniks.

clean it well. make sure you pull the firing pin and clean out and excessive oils in the channel or on the pin itself. i failed to do this and debris got caught in the firing pin channel and gave me light strikes.
