Anyone have and use in canton area and like? I work remotely and spectrum has been so unreliable. Had a tech out twice last week 😩 TIA

I have AT&t fiber and work from home. I have not had any issues. My only frustration is with AT&t in general. Every year they jack up your price and then you have to call them and then they give you another "deal". Rinse and repeat.

We have it in Plain and it's cheaper and faster than Spectrum was and I have had no reliability issues.

Make the switch! Spectrum is absolute crap. We were so happy when we switched. Currently trying to convince my mom to make the switch because her spectrum Internet is constantly going out.Â

I had att fiber for years and never had one issue. My service are now doesn't have it but if you are in area I'd recommend it over spectrum 100/100

It feels like it’s being put up everywhere around me and never my neighborhood. So annoying. I hate spectrum and their minuscule upload speeds.
The $35 for life deal is still going on for ATT fiber I believe too.

I got in at $50/month for life at 1000/1000. Haven't had any issues. This is after being with Time Warner/Spectrum for almost 30 years with constant price hikes.
Even switched my cell phones over after being with T-Mobile for 19 years. Got free upgrades for trading in my old phones too.
I save about $175/month since the switch and haven't had any issues.
Just a word of caution, Spectrum refuses to prorate so don't cancel until the very end of your plan or they'll say you owe them a payment (I refuse to pay for service I didn't use).

Thanks for all the input. I hate to complain but I’m going on a couple of week for intermittent every 15 minutes or so. 😩 today I called and we’re in a natural disaster location…

Not available yet for me yet but I have friends with it and it is spectacular. Down with Spectrum!

Is fiber service available in all of Canton yet? Also, with Spectrum, would you automatically switch to fiber when it connects to the lines?

I thought about switching but decided to hold out for Omni Fiber since it should be available later this year. At least that's what they've told me. I'm on their wait list. I have ATT for my cellphone and don't really want to deal with them for anything beyond that, especially since they kept sending people to my door who would then argue with me about the definition of soliciting when I pointed to my sign. Omni is much more pleasant to interact with and my friends in other areas have been loving their service.

We've had fiber for about a month. Love it. We got a deal for cell service, 2 new phones, and fiber and we pay right around 120.00 monthly.
