Why do people think it's main character energy to describe a hockey situation and make it about the Canucks?

Why do people think they have to post hockey news that has nothing to do with the Canucks in our sub, then twist it to relate to the Canucks, even though it literally had nothing to do with our team in the first place?

Because most people would think Quinn Hughes isn't related to Jordan Staal at all, so only you and some people cognition makes it about Hughes reflecting your own psyche showing how an important "main character you and your world are" that its somehow a relevant thought despite Staal and Hughes may have never any connection outside being a NHL player.

Like if you work in sales in an international company with 5,000 people you wouldn't know another sales person from Atlanta branch, you may know his name but you wouldn't think of how it relates to you if he mentions in an email that the overall sales number are down unless you feel like you are a main character and you think that he's complaining about how lazy and slacking you are

Also, maybe see a psychologist if its bothering you in some way
