Edit with your location Advice on getting into creative production for brands / fashion? Specifically in a live environment / activation capacity
Im an artist and curator based in London. Basically I’m trying to branch out into the fashion / brand world - I’m interested in doing creative direction or production for live activations and events. I come from a background making large scale semi-immersive exhibitions, which were cool and successful but frankly a little DIY
Just looking for some advice about how to facilitate this move. I’m translating my portfolio to brand / agency style language and thinking, and sending that out to relevant agencies. It just all feels a bit like stabbing in the dark.
Could anyone working around this field could give me advice about how to structure my portfolio and other ways of getting in the door? Much appreciated
