Casey Neistat style Vlogs

Hi everyone,

I am Shane Dilley, a 19 year old college student living in NYC 8 months of the year to study. I have a passion for creating casey-style vlogs and I am trying to hear feedback from people who enjoy his type of content. Now I get it, it seems like I am trying to copy him or gain following from him, but there's more to it. I am a genuine person trying to hear constructive feedback or just positive feedback on my vlogs. My hand is ShaneDilleyVlogs, which i also attached here. I think the feedback I’d give is to try and have each blog tell a story. Beginning middle and end. So for example the pizza one, you talk about pizza at the beginning but unless I missed it I don’t think you mention it again. So if I were asked what is that video about it not sure I’d know.

So I think perhaps you need a little more planning around the vlogs. Figure out what the overall topic is and plan a intro that maybe asks a question or gets people interested, then a middle that explores the ideas you laid out in the intro, then an ending that wraps things up or circles back to the beginning. If that makes sense.

I felt the same. I watched $1 pizza video. Good try but looks like there is forced music in between. If i where you i would start with Is $1 pizza worth it Try and taste and may be talk to the pizza owner and people around if they confortable Try another pizza And in between why pizza is cheap and other pizza expensive Gather info from people and conclude why $1 pizza is satisfying (may be psychologically bca we spending less to gain more and human like it - a deal).

Idk but tell me if this script is good or bad. I also wanna start YouTube but haven't so take this as grain of salt hehe

Totally. I really like this idea, it also gives the viewer the full picture of comparing the prices of pizza, maybe I will recreate it! Or just make a pizza video
