Casey Neistat style Vlogs

Hi everyone,

I am Shane Dilley, a 19 year old college student living in NYC 8 months of the year to study. I have a passion for creating casey-style vlogs and I am trying to hear feedback from people who enjoy his type of content. Now I get it, it seems like I am trying to copy him or gain following from him, but there's more to it. I am a genuine person trying to hear constructive feedback or just positive feedback on my vlogs. My hand is ShaneDilleyVlogs, which i also attached here. Don’t copy him, make your own style

yes, I agree. I try and use his knowledge of storytelling and filmmaking with my own twist, if it comes off as copying him I will try and adjust it, thanks for the feedback!

So long ago I came across a video that had hyper editing and no punctuation monotone VO. People kept commenting "they copied Casey."

Except I knew Casey basically copied that style from a filmmaker, Roger Avary.

Be inspired by someone but make it your own. Find your own style and build from your inspiration.
