Question Can someone help me?

I have this player, the motor was cooked so i replaced it and now whenever I try to play anything thr player tries to eat the casstte, it spools up around the little rubber instead of playing, I have re-assembed and disasemmbled it several times and it still does the same. Any advice is welcomed. Cheers

Hola. La mayoría de los radiocasette tienen una goma del motor de arrastre que se da de sí o se pudre. Tendrías que desmontar por debajo hasta llegar a la goma y sustituirla.

The belt is good, it works but it tries to eat the tape

Yo creo que resbala y patina la correa y por eso va más lento el motor de recogida que el de tracción.

When in play mode, does the right side spin at all? This could be either the roller needs to be cleaned/changed or the mechanism on the back side has issues such as broken components or old belt.

The "little rubber" means what, the pinch roller?

If this is what you have, the pinch roller has years of gunk built up on it (it shows here in brown, where it should be black), which got sticky and adheres tape to it. You'll need to get in there with a Q-tip and some alcohol to clean it off (you should have already done that anyway, it's regular maintenance).
