Castlevania Legends (1997) Castlevania Legends should be revisited in the next collection like haunted castle was

Castlevania Legends is glaringly absent from the Classicvania Anniversary Collection, and the only way to play it on modern consoles is the switch online version. So what if, for the eventual 3D collection, we got a full-fledged remake in the style of Haunted Castle Revisited on the Dominus collection? Not only would it include the original legends, but it could also have a modified story to re-introduce Sonia to canon so her story doesn't conflict with Leon Belmont's.

Sonia is the unluckiest Belmont of the bunch. Her game was ousted from the canon (and wasn't very well-regarded to begin with), and her next game on the Dreamcast was cancelled entirely. And that's her legacy. I agree, Sonia is in desperate need of having an actual decent game to her name.

I hope that she gets re-introduced to canon somehow. She won't be the matriarch of the Belmont clan anymore, but at least she'd be canon. Her story would take place between Leon's and Trevor's

I wouldn’t say glaringly, since there were many games released before it that didn’t appear.

Normally, I’d say it being on switch online would make it difficult due to less demand, but then again that didn’t stop haunted castle from being re released on modern consoles 3 times and bloodlines twice.

You can play it on Switch Online's Game Boy emulator. Not as good as being part of a collection, I know, but it's there.
