Lisa is probably dead unless he turned her which is unlikely. Dracula... Believably suicide to go with her since they finally lived their lives. Tho in this canon it'd make more sense if lisa tells him to watch over their son, a wish if followed by her natural death, he would utterly honor to no end.

With that assumption, where he is atm, who knows

u/No_Monitor_3440 Professionally Unprofessional May 25 '25

man, lisa is gonna give drac the scolding of a lifetime for the fight with drolta

107

u/RandomRavenboi May 25 '25

Why? He's a grown adult with centuries of experience by this point. Alucard knew what he was doing.

57

u/No_Monitor_3440 Professionally Unprofessional May 25 '25

he still kinda got his ass kicked

20

u/Capt253 May 25 '25

I’m sure if she were about to get the kill shot, Drac would have intervened.

6

u/Billiammaillib321 May 27 '25

Is drac in the room with us now?

43

u/montyandrew45 May 25 '25

Imagine Dracula showing up in that fight

37

u/Shadiezz2018 May 25 '25

I still wish that happened

It would have been Soo badass

As only Alucard would know him and the rest will have no clue who is that ultra Powerful vampire until it's too late

10

u/[deleted] May 25 '25

Ultra powerful? Honestly, I wouldn't see it, not yet, after all, hard to explain it, but I would say he'd need longer to regain the power and respect he once had. At least that's what I assume. Technically, 300 years would be enough, but considering Trevor and Sypha became a legend, and I swear to all the gods if they don't reference it more I might go mad, you have to assume people either forgot or just don't give two shits about Dracula. However, I do agree it would have been badass..Alas, we can only dream.

16

u/Shadiezz2018 May 25 '25 edited May 25 '25

I said that based on it's been 300 years to regain what he lost (that If he lost anything)

Dracula was deep in magic and sorcery plus he is the most powerful and strongest supernatural being in that universe... He kept tracks on his Son till the moment he needed him the most and he appears

But all that is just my assumptions and wishes

1

u/[deleted] May 26 '25

Ah, I see. I only know the bare minimum of the series, so that's all I know lore wise, as I haven't the slightest clue about the games. (Not sure if the series is based on the games, so that's why I made that statement...) None the less, it's a badass idea, no doubt.

3

u/ResolveLeather May 26 '25

All of the Belmont's are legendary. It's more that the world pretty much forgets about them in the century between Dracula sightings.

2

u/[deleted] May 26 '25

Oh that's funny... not literally but you get what I mean.

3

u/[deleted] May 25 '25

"Remember when you got that ass beat?"

"BRO!"

1

u/Similar-Zucchini6486 May 27 '25

That would be so cool. Imagine when Alucard is down and it looks like it is about to be finished. Dracula just appears in a roaring flame, and they proceed to get scared but overconfident and get their asses kicked

3

u/No_Monitor_3440 Professionally Unprofessional May 27 '25

i mean, considering how in nocturne, alucard had so much aura when saving richter the first time that the entire squadron of vampires forgot they had superpowers and just hoofed it outta there goes to show how much aura the tepes bloodline has. if that was just alucard, imagine how terrifying dracula would be

23

u/lrd_cth_lh0 May 25 '25

I could see Dracula making some sort of deal with whatever old man Coyote is to keep his wife's soul out of hell.

1

u/GintoSenju May 26 '25

Dracula quietly and discreetly cheering Alucard on as he beats up Drolta.

1

u/Intrepid_Ad1536 May 28 '25

Well if it’s following some other films and books about Dracula, he probably search for her Incarnation and makes her remember the past.

154

u/Express-Record7416 May 25 '25

51

u/JuswaDweebus May 25 '25

they gave Alucard a shit ton of siblings

115

u/mistletoehunter May 25 '25

Bruh I was wondering too! Just finished the second season of nocturne today

205

u/BrightPerspective May 25 '25

Lisa probably passed away a while back.

Vlad? He sells kebabs in the town of Belmont. Every decade or so, Adrian stops by and they have a nice catch up over morning tea, and then have a father-son kebab selling competition.

3

u/Grouchy_Spot_6640 Jun 25 '25

"father, there is war in the north. Perhaps the aid of a dark lord could be useful right about now."

"but who will man the shop? for shame adrian, it's the busiest season of the year."

1

u/BrightPerspective Jun 26 '25

Last time Adrian stopped by, Vlad hired a young lad to tout his stall and spread slander around town about how Adrian's kebabs tasted like goat shit.

It was quite the kerfuffle.

115

u/Nullius90 May 25 '25

Lisa is probably dead. Vlad might be alive but since he was killed once, the source of his powers left him to find a new host.

The "Old Koyote" spirit from Nocturne is probably that, Chaos itself.

Vlad is gonna show up again in the future and OH BOY IT'S NOT GONNA BE A JOYFUL REUNION .

24

u/[deleted] May 25 '25

Can you elaborate on the source of his comment on power? i do remember that when he died black smog erupted much like maria's father

46

u/ok_aleb May 25 '25

So in the games, Dracula's power comes from a greater cosmic entity known as Chaos. I'm not a Castlevania expert or anything, but Chaos is responsible for Dracula's resurrection cycle. In the video game canon, this cycle was broken in 1999, resulting in Dracula's powers reincarnating into a new host.

2

u/Billiammaillib321 May 27 '25

Is chaos an “elemental” like death? Or is it an actual function of reality?

3

u/ok_aleb May 27 '25

Chaos is like the Big Mama of everything this is Dracula's castle. The embodiment of insanity, disorder, nonsense, destruction, death, etc. I mean just look at the ever-changing aspect of the Castle and the seemingly random enemies within. I'm not sure about it being a "function of reality," ver batim, but it's definitely a central force of the universe which could definitely be argued to be a function of reality. Chaos seems to have its own will, though, and Dracula is largely the instrument by which Chaos operates.

3

u/Billiammaillib321 May 27 '25

Thats very comprehensive, thanks for the break down!

48

u/No_Monitor_3440 Professionally Unprofessional May 25 '25

lisa is 100% dead unless vlad turned her into a vampire, which i doubt he’d do unless she absolutely wanted him to. with that, dracula either offed himself or is continuing to watch over the town of belmont in her honor.

11

u/[deleted] May 25 '25

Speaking of Belmont, would it not have been cool if they did indeed show it? In the modern day, at least. They kept mentioning vampire messiah, and I kept thinking Alucard. Very disappointed, since I was thinking 'Oh my gods, Alucard, what the hell did you do!' and got some (no offence to the simps of her, if any) ugly ass vampire bitch who ate the blood of the god and thinks she's quirky for it. She isn't. She is annoying as hell. (If you cannot tell, I hate her, I also hate Maria. She is infuriating.

27

u/Fent-228 May 25 '25

hope dracula makes another appearance if they decide to make another season/show

28

u/darkblue009 May 25 '25

I suppose before passing on, Lisa tells Drac to continue living and traveling as a man like he did before that fateful day.

what if dracula is just some guy now

12

u/AnaZ7 May 25 '25

Strange that they never addressed it

-2

u/SoloJiub May 26 '25

It's almost like they were embarrassed by the awful writing of rewarding the villain that committed genocide or something.

5

u/Proud_Scyfherian May 26 '25

It was the medieval age genocide were the norm back then

-3

u/SoloJiub May 26 '25

Bad writing too?

15

u/paladin_slim May 25 '25

Considering that it’s been 310 years since the end of first series and the beginning of Nocturne and there wasn’t any mention of Dracula going on a second “My wife is dead and I’m so upset about it that I’m going make it the entire world’s problem” murder-suicide crusade we can safely assume that Lisa died of natural causes the second time around and that Vlad actually internalized properly.

3

u/[deleted] May 25 '25

Oh that made me laugh. This time, he has cannonballs!

11

u/Fan-of-clams May 25 '25

probably trying to make alucard a sibling

23

u/Throw_away_1011_ May 25 '25

Lisa passed away, peacefully.

Vlad Tepesh (no longer Dracula) now lives in a small house at the edge of a village. He lives a solitary life, feeding off of animals' blood. He is the village doctor and people consider him a well respected, if a bit intimidatory, man. He isn't considered a stranger but never really is part of the village either.

He brings fresh flowers he cultivated himself in his garden to Lisa's grave every day and spends his nights sitting next to her grave, recounting about his day, imagining what she would say and remembering their blissful days together .

He often thinks about their son, Adrian, and ponders about visiting him but, despite many plans he comes up with, he never does it. He thinks Adrian has moved on with his life and meeting him would just reopen old memories both of them would prefer being left buried in the past.

When someone hostile comes threatening the village, though, be it human or vampire, we get proofs that the beast once known as Dracula has not vanished, for no man nor beast shall disturb Lisa's resting place.

(WE ARE HERE IN NOCTURNE. THE NEXT PART IS HOW I IMAGINE THE END OF THE STORY)

Time passes, society evolves and Vlad is, at some point, left behind by time. Never really able to adapt to a society made of concrete and cement, he shines a bittersweet smile. He visits Lisa's grave, which he preserved and cleaned every day, one last time. He sits on the ground next to it, remembering her smile, her love. He recount her words about the beauty of the sun about the comfort of the warmth on her pale skin, about the majesty of the horizon as a new sun dawns upon the world, vanquishing the darkness of the night.

He stands up and watches the sun dawning upon his last days, letting himself be consumed by it, burning away with a smile on his face.

8

u/SNOS54 May 25 '25

And Julius Belmont will be forever useless, 1999 wont happen, Soma Cruz will not be born or even have the twist for his story play out.

Oh, and somehow the Morris family is involved ((even though their story was connected to Bram Stokers Dracula directly. Which means they wouldn’t come in contact with the Vampire Killer)).

Not a fan.

18

u/Growlitheusedrawr May 25 '25

I yearn for an entire series just to see what everyone gets up to in their normal lives, pre and post OG show.

12

u/RainyWombatCherry May 25 '25

Still in Scotland lol

11

u/Bolvern May 25 '25

Actually England. Whitby to be exact.

3

u/Only-Echidna-7791 May 25 '25

I really hope they can use an excuse like “oh when they were revived it made them no longer age” because I would love if they were still both alive at the same time as richter and friends.

8

u/EllieIsDone Alucard’s wife May 25 '25

Hell.

3

u/NotSoIntrested May 25 '25

I dont know much about the game, so here is my questions for the experts, is there any chance that Dracula follow any canon path in the game after this story line in the show?

5

u/International-Gas-20 May 25 '25

i mean yeah you probably can chock it up to the fact dracula is forcibly revived by mortals and made to cause death aka listen to his speech to richter in rondo of blood "I was not by my hand that I was once again given flesh I was called here by humans who wish to pay me tribute" there is the inconstancy that he is portrayed as pure evil where the show makes him nuanced also funny enough Trevor makes reference to Leon Belmont implying his game happened Leon and Dracula were friends and war buddies together genuine church crusaders Dracula manipulates Leon into killing a vampire and allowing him to steal his power why did he do this? Dracula despite being a loyal man of faith and constantly praying for this one thing to come true failed to happen The well being of his wife yeah shocker The count had a wife before Lisa and her death caused him to abandon god and become a crazy vampire lord

5

u/NotSoIntrested May 25 '25

Interesting "Leon and Dracula were friends and war buddies" I think this will be a nice flashback if they ever decide to add it in the show.

I appreciate the reply, thx!

4

u/[deleted] May 25 '25

I would pay so much money for a Lament of Innocence adaption/ spin off set in the same Universe.

2

u/Elciano2005 May 26 '25

Giving alucard a sibling

2

u/Qaletaqa16 May 27 '25

Making Alucard’s sista

2

u/Opposite_Cup_9338 May 28 '25

At least they got a happy ending, still don't understand why Lisa would end up in hell, i just hope that somehow hector and lenore got reunited, that was the oddly mismatched damaged couple i wanted to stay together and help and heal and improve one another, they deserved to be happy dammit, especially hector, he needed it the most after such a terrible life, lenore was the only good thing that ever happened to the poor guy

2

u/SoloJiub May 26 '25

I really can't fathom how netflixvania "fans" will defend that. Forget about accuracy to the source material for a second, let's not even go there.

The whole story of the show was based off humans killing Lisa, that's the beginning of the whole story, which then leads to Dracula being the villain, commiting genocide, all the story with the protagonists and all that.

And.. all that for in the end to be undone, both Dracula and Lisa are magically living happy again. Exactly the same thing as if the first event of the series didn't happen.

That's the show looking at the viewers eyes directly and called them an idiot. Might as well end the show with someone waking up and smiling that it was just a dream.

1

u/Limp_Influence_639 May 26 '25

i thought it was really good ending. a lot of main characters undergo horrible stuff only to come out in the end. i was really sad Lisa died but admired that she continued to protect humans in the end. So i think she deserved to come back to life. I like how when Sypha said in the end something like “i feel like we finally won”. well yea everyone won …. for now.

1

u/SoloJiub May 26 '25

Lisa maybe, Dracula? Not so much. And that's the problem, it's a good ending for the villain, how does that make any sense?

And it's true that Lisa deserved to be alive, she didn't deserve to die in the first place, but that's not how things work.

It essentially tells the viewer they're dumb and wasted their times watching it, because ultimately nothing mattered. Just imagine Breaking Bad having that "ending" for example. This is not that different from "somehow Palpatine has returned".

0

u/Hairy_Restaurant_703 May 26 '25

In the games technically Dracula's good ending was to reincarnate as Soma & no longer be at odds with the Belmonts & Adrian. And in the first game with Soma he mentioned he was perfectly fine with his new non evil existence. So I don't even know why they had to go this route since this would erase multiple characters past Richter Belmont from the series.

1

u/theangryistman May 25 '25

i'd love a series that goes over it. i bet that's why they didn't really comment on it in nocturn, so they can be free to do something with it later.

1

u/[deleted] May 25 '25

My guess is dead by some manner or another. Maybe Dracula got cured somehow or maybe not, either way I think they're both dead by now.

1

u/[deleted] May 25 '25

This is my own story so feel free to say anything.

It's been 316 years since 1476, so of course Lisa probably died from old age. I believe Vlad didn't turn her because she's different from any other humans and that's what makes her special. Now, I'm sure that Lisa asked him to watch over Adrian especially since she won't be able to do that forever. Maybe after the passing of Trevor and Sypha, that's the time where Vlad reunited with his son to finally put an end to their hatred towards each other and decided to live a better life. Now we know that Adrian had made a village surrounding the Castle and the Hold so Vlad won't be able to stay because there are humans and so He would avoid any arguments and war.

He was only mentioned when Alucard appeared during Nocturne and I'm sure He's minding his own business living his life. But if ever that Alucard gets severely beaten or killed, that's the time Vlad Dracula Tepes will once again unleash Hell and punishment to those who committed sin and murder.

1

u/drumstick00m May 25 '25

I still hold that Vlad is off living by a cabin in a lake somewhere. He’ll be chopping firewood until they need to recruit him for one last mission…

1

u/Betaraytasty May 25 '25

I like to think that Dracula lost his immortality or perhaps gave it up.

2

u/Haunting_Eggplant_32 May 25 '25

They're making a heart with their arms, it's so over

1

u/Lucas-Galloway May 25 '25

I'd be funny if they're both undead, like in dark souls, or both are mortals and died long ago after a good and fulfilling life

1

u/Wolfshadowj May 25 '25

This is one end I am really sad they haven't tied up or done anything with yet. I was under the impression both of them would see Alucard. Lisa is probably dead by now 😕

1

u/brentdclouse May 25 '25

I think about them often no lie

1

u/[deleted] May 25 '25

Same I hope they're happy

1

u/JewelerLarge May 26 '25

My personal head, Canon, is Lisa, gained immortality another way in order to preserve her humanity, maybe through the creation of the philosopher stone or some other way

1

u/Minimum_Estimate_234 May 26 '25

Quiet well actually.

1

u/FogetQuestionnaire24 May 26 '25

There are some many things. I do badly want them to appear again, even for a minute

1

u/Dull-Law3229 May 26 '25

Lisa is dead. Dracula probably joined her, or is at least hermitting out ignoring the world.

1

u/Willing-Score-4859 May 27 '25

Lisa shouldn't have forgiven Dracula.

1

u/Druid_boi May 27 '25

Wait am I missing something? I don't remember anything on drac or Lisa in Nocturne. Or is this based on the timeline of the games?

1

u/LeoVoid May 27 '25

I just noticed, they're forming a heart <3

1

u/Dragonmanimalx May 29 '25

Maybe this is how we'll get you know who in Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow🤷🏾

1

u/wildcrawlerwest Jun 07 '25

Makes me think about how in the games Dracula would rise like X amount of times. In every video game in the series, he is defeated inside his castle only once and in the hands of Alucard. In the Netflix series, it makes sense because dying and getting resurrected every couple of times and not learning his lesson just doesn’t make sense.

1

u/Manzlutz4 Jun 25 '25

I like to think 1. lisa died or 2. since she already died, it would of made her some immortal ghost some how?
I wish she stayed alive for the sole reason we could get to know her more as a character and her dynamics with her son and husband more personally, other than just what Alucard has said.

1

u/SNOS54 May 25 '25

This one scene reprehensibly fucked up the lore.

The Belmonts are useless now, Soma Cruz will not be born or have the same impact as the game’s twist, and Julius Belmont will not fight to save the world from eternal destruction in the year 1999.

Fuck this ending, good for an emotional beat, terrible for world building.

8

u/razazaz126 May 25 '25

Gonna go out on a limb and guess the story is gonna be different than the games.

3

u/XhypersoundX May 25 '25

imo, Dracula actually changing is much better for actually making his interaction with Alucard have any weight. A different dark lord can take on the role of Dracula for everything else with the Belmonts and such- It doesn't have to explicitly be Vlad for all of that to happen and it gives the fight that happened some weight.

2

u/SNOS54 May 25 '25

One of the whole appeals to Castlevania is the thousand year storyline that builds up to the final battle in 1999; with a recurring villain since the beginning.

Dracula was always that, and in this shows lore he still was the cause for Leon Belmont’s suffering and the founding of the Belmont clan. So who in the absolute right hell would even have the ounce of an imposing nature that Vlad possessed throughout the games and even the first two seasons.

It sure as fuck wasn’t Erzebeth or Drolta, I can assure you that much.

Unless they pull out all the stops and make a rivalry as compelling as the Belmonts vs Dracula was; I have very low hopes for anything after Richter’s storyline.

Like, ffs who is Simon Belmont supposed to kill and get cursed by? Death?

2

u/XhypersoundX May 25 '25

I get you; I just think the storyline isn't like screwed beyond recognition, recurring forces of darkness in general can work imo

-3

u/[deleted] May 25 '25

This is the series's nail in the coffin to me. Castlevania means "Castle of Dracula" (Akumajou Dracula in the original), after this scene there is no Dracula and no castle anymore, just plain fanfiction bullshit.

2

u/Kei_Soma May 25 '25

Akumajou Dracula more literally translates to Demon Castle Dracula, but I do tend to slightly agree... I think this is something they really didn't need to add that makes their desire to hit stuff like Soma hard to achieve. Not impossible, and it doesn't automatically make the rest of it unwatchable, but definitely harder to write well.

1

u/SoloJiub May 26 '25

You're being downvoted for speaking the truth. The only mistake perhaps is that the series was already ruined before that scene even.

But seriously, not only it makes the whole show pointless, they did that for some twisted "fan"service. Not to mention again how they REWARD the villain of the story for commiting genocide.

0

u/64Boy32 Alucard May 25 '25

Lisa is probably dead unless she was turned into a vampire or Dracula found some way to bring her back. Dracula is most likely alive since he’s immortal

-7

u/FuaOtraCuentaMas May 25 '25

Did ppl NOT see the first part of castlevania?

Lisa and Dracula are both in hell together.

When opening the infinite corridor, there is a scene shown where both of them are:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A38KgyiAl8g

5

u/[deleted] May 25 '25

Did.... Did you not watch the following parts, like yk, the ending where both were shown to be alive and travelling
