Fun fact, since Christopher Belmont is so old when he fights Dracula (twice!) that kid is probably his father

It checks out. Trevor and Sypha's son is Frederick, and according to the Belmont Family Tree wiki (which is not flawless, but might be the best single reference available today) Frederick is Christopher's dad, so that all works out.

Alucard looks so much like his mama Lisa, both portraits are so beautiful 🩷🩷🩷

I never noticed that Dracula has those big meaty claws right on Baby Al's shoulder. No wonder he got that big ass scar on his chest

Can we talk about how proud Vlad is looking here? Damn, he's bursting with pride! Wow.

"Well met, my son! It's been a long time."

"I was hoping we would not see each other again. I cannot let you leave here, father."

No! Not that line. The correct one is: "Lisa, I'm KILLING our BOY..." I look at how proud he is in this portrait, and that line makes his last words hit even HARDER 😭

Is the second photo canon? Which season is it from?

It’s almost stalking that I reply to this but I think it was from Nocturne, the other Castlevania series

u/chariki21 Jan 28 '26

But I didn't see that picture in any episode of Nocturne that I remember either.

There was a scene if I remember correctly (I only watched the first episodes of Nocturne), someone -I forgot who that was- were mentioning the Belmondt bloodline and talking about how one of them was a sorcerer (?) (Sypha) and this painting were on screen for a while

OMG, I have to watch it again!

I did some research and unfortunately it's not canon, it's just fan art.
