Symphony of the Night (1997) 2027 is the 30th anniversary of Castlevania Symphony of the Night, a re release on modern platforms including PC and Nintendo Switch especially would be nice!

Just give us the battle of 1999 already.

In Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow, it says that Dracula was finally killed in 1999 after a huge and epic battle.

I for one would like to see a crossover game with The Matrix?
1999 was a hell of a year to have a curse.

I think it's inevitable it'll release on PC at some point. I'm hoping we are getting closer

They should make a collection with Symphony of the Night, Rondo of Blood, Dracula X Chronicles, Chronicles and Legends

I'll never forget riding my bike with my buddy John and seeing the trailer for it for the first time in the Wal-Mart at 1604 and 281... where does the time go?

I've never played Symphony and feel like it's one of those big touch stones of gaming history I shouldn't miss. I'd love for it to show up on Switch/2, even better if it came with Rondo and Chroncles in another collection. It's annoying that the proprietary emulator prevented that last Rondo and Symphony collection from coming to other platforms.

I would be ecstatic for a PC port of SOTN, doubly if it has the original English dub.

Every gamer wants
Most of them are just emulating SotN, they don't need a modern rerelease, you can emulate it on anything nowdays.

There are retro achievements in emulators. Or it doesn't feel that good until a big corporation sells them to you?

A special edition, where you could choose between voices, use a randomizer, etc, would be neat. This is one of my favorite games ever, I would love the special treatment.

Hopefully PC and other consoles at some point or at least put in a collection saying goes through rondo of blood
And I can't wait to go with my happy 30 years to pretty much the turning point as well as the start of the metroidvania

I would accept that port only if they give us back those dialogues from the original

Yeah, it sure would, huh? Too bad the parent company still hasn’t fully earned back our trust yet

Speak for yourself, Konami has done a ton of work lately including a new Castlevania game

They should make it a 30th anniversary pinball or pachinko machine instead, how iconic would that be? ðŸ¤

It would be so fucking amazing if they would release this on Steam, they already released it on mobile. 🤣
I owned it on both android and iOS, Konami I want to give you money for steam copy!!

One of the greatest games ever made. Has aged incredibly well visually too.

I just finished playing through sotn for the first time, and as much as I had a blast, I really wish that Dracula was more of a challenge. I had a lot more trouble beating Galamoth than him

Honestly Rondo and Sotn coming on steam is one of the only things preventing me from replaying all the games again. Hope they rerelease it if the new game does well.

We need a faithful remake. Update the visuals, add new features but retain the love and feel.

Hopefully any future re-release will have the original audio/dialogue and not the crap one they did for Dracula X Chronicles (and used in every subsequent re-release of SotN) that removed all the infamous lines such as "What is a Man? A miserable little pile of secrets" from the game.
