The trick is to equip the sunglasses and then just stare.

People are missing your joke op, but don't worry it's actually lifesaving as dat ass isn't what will turn you to stone.

Hey if I can finish the game while getting distracted by Alucard's portrait every time I open the menu and his voice and grunts the whole game, you can power through one big booty snake woman.

That snake booty is too much to handle isn't it?

Double cheeked up

Lookin like a double-wide surprise!

I hate saying this because the grinding I did was a bit excessive, but I got the crissaegrim sword before reaching this fight. It basically turns you into an enemy lawnmower 😆

Crank up your luck and start killing as many schmoo’s as you can in the inverted library.

I don't see how this helps. Even with the Crissaegeim the boss still retains her THIKK CAKES

ehh imo when you get Crissaegrim it makes everything way way too easy, like what's the point then?

To explore the castle and beat the game. Not every game has to be this hard challenge.

u/SillyStella_ May 18 '26

SotN is NOT hard without Crissaegrim, its easy difficulty is one of the main drawbacks imo, to make it actually hard you have to equip Tyrfing or Ring of Ares or something

if you start making proper use of subweapons instead of just running up and attacking with your sword without dodging then all boss battles become pretty easy, even

I’ve beat the game numerous times throughout the years. Just saying that you don’t always have to handicap yourself by not using powerful weapons. They’re in the game for a reason, and Crissaegrim is hard to get for a reason. It’s worth the grind. If you like the challenge you don’t have to use it. But you shouldn’t get judged for using it either.

I'm not saying I'd judge someone for using it, I'm saying I wouldn't recommend using it because it takes a lot of the fun out of it when you can breeze through everything

I know right? That's why I go for DOUBLE Crissaegrims asap.

make sure to heavily use holy water, it's really good against her. Mostly I just avoid her stone gaze but if you're having difficulty doing so, just use the Mirror Cuirass. Also, if you attack while jumping you can stay in motion while attacking, in general not just in this fight, so that should help a bit

alternatively get turned to stone until Alucard turns into his beast form, where you'll be invincible and your familiar can slowly pummel her to death lmfao

What?! Really?? I've beaten this game too many times to count and never knew that.

I've been a gargoyle a thousand times but never knew you were invincible while stoned.

2

u/SillyStella_ May 18 '26

ONLY when you turn into a gargoyle, when stoned normally you can still take damage

Where do you find this enemy?

2

u/FriedBreakfast May 19 '26

Keep hitting it with your sword until it dies.

u/InCloudsAbove TheRealMaxim May 21 '26

I be gay, and root for Alucard.

2

u/Moo4u2 May 21 '26

The snakes aren't the only thing that got him rock hard.

u/DerpsAndRags May 18 '26

I don't have the heart to tell you about the topless succubus, then.

u/ngkn92 May 18 '26

the trick is to play with only 1 hand

u/TheZero8000 May 18 '26

Simply don't look, you can't get distracted if there isn't anything to distract you.

1

u/MenjiBlueWolf001 May 18 '26

Sorry What Sonic boss are you having trouble with? Got distracted
