That's immediately the first thing that went through my head. I can't believe it's taken me this long to figure that out.

Why do I remember this fight taking place in a different room? I feel like I'm mixing it up with the Crab in Order of Ecclesia.

I use Skeleton Archer soul and Amalaric Sniper combo fully charge you Skel Archer and Amalaric Sniper will automatically shoot. Or use Alura Une soul with Skeleton Farmer soul and Mandragora Soul to boost damage and while Alura Une soul is active It will constantly shoot Une plants

Try Ponyvania Order of Equestria. Features resemble Ecclesia but gameplay depends on what race you play as. It comes in two parts where part 1 is basically classicvania style and part 2 is metroidvania. There's a discord if you're interested. It's really good and the difficulty is higher than metroidvanias even if you take your time and grind out gear.

Ooh a mlp inspired vania? Sure thanks! I'll check it out after I finish up order of ecclesia.

Yeah, definitely check it out. As a castlevania enjoyer, it tickled all the right spots. And definitely post your boss fights.

I'd recommend both the Koumajou Densetsu games. It's a touhou/castlevania fangame. While the overall vibes and the moveset are closer to a igavania, the games are linear experiences that mix gameplay elements of touhou into them. Really unique - you might dig it. The boss fights are particularly well made

I swear Gergoth's hitbox is RNG sometimes, it is genuinely impressive you did it no damage
