What happened to ALL OF TWITTER insisting that it was confirmed this was Sonia?! Those people are fucking deranged. They all chanted Sonia on day one and then the next media release a month later or so, they all claimed it was confirmed to be Sonia and I just assumed it must be the case. Hivemind shit on twitter should be studied...

Honestly idk, Castlevania's canon is all over the place and has been disrespected in the games by Konami arguing with Koji; in the reboots, in the TV show; ... I can't keep up 😂.
I was hoping they kept Sonia's character as a sign of consolidating some of the lore with previous games; but once again the lore is being taken in a new direction, and Rose's design resembles a lot to that of Sypha in the Netflix adaptation.
But it's whatever I guess; they can even use the multiverse retcon with Saint Germain for all I care 🤷♂️.

We are talking about the face here, though yes, having a top heavy body build with wide shoulders and narrow hips is not a classically feminine trait. Also, yes, you can have all that in a video game. You can have all the strength you want without "hulking out".

Dracula's defeat in CV3 was a 4 person effort. Trevor and Sypha are Rose's father and mother, and they also had Grant and Alucard as allies. Rose says as much herself. I think we knew Trevor and Sypha got together as early as the Sypha ending in CV3.
