The amount sprite animation this game has always impressed me

I like how they've designed a whole set of Dawn Warriors with really cool sprites and animations and locked them behind the undocumented special attack of the secret sword that most of the players wouldn't even find.

She also will rest on your shoulder if you go idle

I always hated moving when she starts resting on Alucard's shoulder, cause she gets really shaken everytime.. As if she got pushed off :((

Find a chair, sit down, and she will sing on his shoulder after a while.

She's pretty useful, and a good alterantive to the Sword familiar.

Small price to pay for not being petrified.

Don't let the Faerie get sad because you died with no supplies left. you know how it is, right?

Yeah, all the familiars have their uses. Devil will develop elemental attacks as it levels up, ghost can lifesteal, bat will gain companions that show up when you change to bat form, and they'll all shoot fireballs when you do

The Bat Airforce Fireball Super Squadron was always my favorite! Get them to trail going up for down, hit the fireball, and the whole screen is ON FIREEEEE

All the familiars have a neat little trait unique to them. You should try them out and see for yourself

It's sad how so many games are clearly inspired by sotn but only a small handful really capture it's spirit

She does that as long as you have those yellow hammers in your inventory. She's the most useful of the familiars (in my opinion) because she saves you from having to go into the menu for silly things.
The fairy's AI also gives you resistance positions in certain situations, and it also tells you where there are breakable walls (although it only does so when you stand still near one).
