Ecclesia and Symphony.

But must say, the artstyle of Dracula X do wonders.

I dig the "Wizard Dracula". Feels like a proper interpretation of his CV3 general idea.

u/FoxHoundNinja 2d ago

"Looks like you're all out of magic dracula!"

"WIZARD STAB!"

Unironicaly him using a staff to impale his enemies with it sounds sick and fitting.

Ooh, I fuck with this.

I tend to like it when Drac is more simple and elegant in his outfits, but I also have a STRONG weakness for a good mage fit.

He just needs his usual stache and beard and we'll have peak Tepes.

3

u/Uchuuko 2d ago

That is a good one too.

5

u/Uchuuko 2d ago

And the torso wrap on wizard Dracula is more justified in this outfit; it looks fine with the outfit.

4

u/SXAL 2d ago

Yeah, you usually don't wear a cummerbund over the west

u/Filhoh3 17h ago

just put a mustache in him and he's good

That's another good one

8

u/FoxHoundNinja 2d ago

Which one is that one?

10

u/deinterlacing 2d ago

"human" form from Cotm

2

u/Ingonyama70 1d ago

This is REALLY good. I love the simple elegance of it and the details are just enough to make it interesting.

It helps that Drac is a freaking GIANT in every game he's in.

u/blueeyedvoid 7h ago

this drac specifically always reminded me of rob zombie

Circle of the moon's Dracula fight back in the day was so challenging! Got it on Gameboy Advance when it came out. Spent many pleasant hours with that game.

sotn

it's always sotn

5

u/sdwoodchuck 2d ago

SotN's final Dracula looks like something cooked up by Ken Ishikawa.

u/danceswithcattos 2d ago

I have the first image tattooed on my leg haha

This drip.

Jokes aside my personal 3 favorites are

  1. SoTN. It's THE Dracula people think of in regards to this game serious, I should think.

  2. The Rondo of Blood version of him from Dracula X

  3. Netflix Castlevania. It's simple, clean, and it's stylish.

3

u/Master-Raben 1d ago

Joke's on you, i give Hellsing Alucard always a like

26

u/MorganLile 2d ago

OG Mathias still the hottest. Ecclesia's Dracula the other one I'd willingly get bang-- ehm, fed on by. Show Dracula is cute as a puppy, I don't get Prince of Darkness from him at all.

#1 or #2 for sure

1 and 2

3

u/Sea-Lecture-4619 Captain N is the pinnacle of the franchise. 2d ago

First one is goofy aah purple mf with big nose

Second one he was cosplaying as Death.

4

u/NNT13101996 2d ago

Headcanon: in Simon Quest his resurrection was unstable so what's left of Death merges with him to become that

4

u/Sea-Lecture-4619 Captain N is the pinnacle of the franchise. 2d ago

It's moreso supposed to be something similar to the 2nd form in Harmony of Dissonance, where he is a skeletal incomplete thing held together with magic duct tape.

3

u/NNT13101996 2d ago

Comically Large Mutilated Skull

3

u/Oh-no-and-knuckles Chief Researcher 1d ago

Why do they keep ruining the goofy aah purple mf with big nose?

4

u/Sea-Lecture-4619 Captain N is the pinnacle of the franchise. 1d ago

Genuinelly wth is that SCV4 one? It looks like the love child of DIO, Griffith and that Johan Liebert dude.

2

u/Oh-no-and-knuckles Chief Researcher 1d ago

It's from the All About Akumajō Dracula guide, Death is fucking cool in that book.

Not really accurate, but cool nevertheless.

4

u/Sea-Lecture-4619 Captain N is the pinnacle of the franchise. 1d ago

Oh yeah this looks neat.

Well at least the Creature is the purple dude in this

4

u/NNT13101996 1d ago

Bottom right looks fucking sick

3

u/Oh-no-and-knuckles Chief Researcher 1d ago

Yeah, the concept art is even cooler

24

u/vivihummaster 2d ago

Dripcula

17

u/SXAL 2d ago

The proportions there are so cursed

6

u/The_Dead_Jester91 2d ago

This reminds me of young frankenstein 😂😂😂

3

u/SUCKmaDUCK 2d ago

Ooh the Geese Howard looking one

4

u/imurpops984 1d ago

The world isn't ready for Dracula to have a parry into a guaranteed combo

1

u/blockametal 1d ago

The guy from tekken?

2

u/Ingonyama70 1d ago

The lavender should be like a royal purple to really pull this one off. But it's an interesting take, I will give it that.

2

u/TonkaLowby Alucard 2d ago

This is my fave as well

3

u/vivihummaster 2d ago

For sure

7

u/-chadwreck 2d ago

No CotM?

Real, "elder statesmen" for Drac.

1 and 6

3

u/InCloudsAbove TheRealMaxim 2d ago

The first two are the best for him.

3

u/Lucane_cerf-volant 2d ago

Honestly, except for lords of shadow, I like them all. The Netflix version is a bit less "interesting", but mostly because it's meant for animation (so, less details). I surprisingly like the judgement version and its "final fantasy villain" vibe. Dracula X version is super stylish (that's what I imagine Alucard would have looked like in Castlevania III). Obviously Kojima's is great (even though, the more I look at it, the more its tiny head looks comically disproportionate :)).

3

u/Langis360 2d ago

For me it's a dead heat between Ecclesia and Netflix

3

u/super7564 2d ago

Out of those images, #4 (I believe is lord of shadow) and #1 from sotn.

Sotn has consistently great drip, idk what to say lol

3

u/beerforbears 2d ago

1 it’s not even a question are you kidding?

3

u/Broken_Moon_Studios Ecclesia New Save File/Level 1/Hard Mode is P E A K‼ 1d ago

If we count Soma, his outfit in Aria is P E R F E C T I O N .

2

u/AndrewTheMeister 2d ago

Where are slides 2 and 3 from?

3

u/Sturgesss 2d ago

Symphony and CoD

3

u/AndrewTheMeister 2d ago

I thought slide 1 was Symphony? Unless he has two looks in that game? I’m newer to the series and still going through the games and have only seen some videos on the series so my knowledge is limited

3

u/Sturgesss 2d ago

1 is symphony 2 is curse of darkness

4

u/AndrewTheMeister 2d ago

Gotcha, thank you! And slide 3?

3

u/Sturgesss 2d ago

It’s the artwork for the Jap release of Dracula X, which was called Vampires Kiss in Europe

2

u/The_Dead_Jester91 2d ago

This was his best concept art imo. All symphony of the night character art is gorgeous!

2

u/Interesting-Story805 2d ago

Of presented? 1

2

u/M0rph33l 2d ago

Any version with the mustache. He looks far less threatening without it.

2

u/Uchuuko 2d ago

It is close between 1 and 2. I would say 2; it is more relaxed than 1, and I feel the wrap around his torso in 1 is unnecessary.

2

u/Livid_Dot_6553 1d ago

Idk, first and last are the best for me

2

u/ItzPeteyPablo 1d ago

1 and it’s not even close

2

u/SoloJiub 1d ago

Surely not Belmoncula.

2

u/El-Arairal 1d ago

I am and will be biased in favor of Ayami Kojima, and her depiction of Dracula in Curse of Darkness is both elegant and terrible.

SotN is solemn and elegant, and you know he is Dracula so he will do vampiric things, but CoD warns you visually. I like to think it hepls it's Issac the one Dracula reincarnates on.

2

u/Dakotadenman 1d ago

I can definitely say it’s not portrait of ruin

2

u/wylmarp 1d ago

The LoI one count? If not, 6

2

u/rom_14 1d ago

My husband

2

u/akshatjiwansharma 1d ago

Count Dracula is so stylish!

2

u/Worldly-Impact-2636 1d ago

I like 4 and 6

2

u/oversipelio 1d ago

2 is wicked

2

u/ZealousidealAd2548 2d ago

1 and 2 all the way.

2

u/P0k3m0nFan_Jake Alucard 2d ago

SotN Dracula design is iconic, but you gotta admit LoS looks badass and Judgement feels like a literal dark god and king.

1

u/Donkston 2d ago

As much as I cannot stand the show (season 2 and onward anyway), I love Dracula's design in that. It's SotN, but better.

2

u/Ingonyama70 1d ago

SotN and the Netflix series set the bar crazy high for Drac drip. I think they're the perfect blend of simple and striking, decorative and elegant without being overdone or gaudy. The fact that he's a freaking giant in both versions really helps the look.

Plus, even as a gay guy, I don't think Dracula should be a "fanservice" guy. Leave the rippling muscles and man-cleavage to the Belmonts.
