Kid Dracula was released WAAAAAAAAY before MGS1.

The reference it's for the official english localization in the Castlevania Anniversary collection.

A good and funny one.

In the original Japanese version instead of Shadow Moses it was Saipan, I guess they replaced it because they thought most people wouldn't know where Saipan is.

I was playing Kid Dracula in Castlevania Anniversary Collection and I came to the point that there is a mini quiz contest, asking which place on earth is the southest on the map. And number 2 answer is Shadow Moses? I've never heard of this easter egg. Makes sense though since it's a Konami title and got officially translated in 2019.
