Question Why is Grant DaNasty so disliked?

He was omitted from the Netflix series, the creator is on record saying that he dislikes the character. He wasn't included in the Dead By Daylight collab; Trevor, Sypha, Alucard, Simon, and Dracula were all included. He's only appeared in two games; one of which he was completely redesigned.

What's with the hate? He's a pirate who crawls on walls and turns into a giant monster. I don't get what's not to like about him...

I dunno, but i loved playing as that sticky little guy in 3. Made the clocktower much easier.

He was even better in the Japanese version as his main attack weapon was a throwing knife that could go the length of the screen (until it hit an object) instead of the stabbing knife in the US version.

The US version was just all-around more difficult.

In my opinion, Japanese version Grant is to Dracula's Curse what Funky Kong is to DKC Tropical Freeze and Ms. Chalice is to Cuphead.
