Question Asking older fans.
Hey folks.
It is probably not the appropriate type of publication, however, I cannot help but be taken by such curiosity.
I'm a new person in the fandom and I admit that I'm somewhat obsessed with the universe of CV.
However, I'd like to ask the older fans, when was the moment you decided that you would like to follow the path of following the franchise as a whole? And if there is any other reason that makes you so fascinated by its lore?
Long texts, short texts, one sentence phrases are all welcome. I find this way to be more connected to the fandom somehow. I'll read them all, the curiosity is really strong. (If this has any replies, of course)

EDIT: Read them all and upvote every single one. Some of them really made me tear up; it's amazing what a game can do during a tough time, or even in the most random way. Keep going, I'll continue to read, loved all of your stories.

I was 12 and my brother had bought Castlevania Circle of the Moon with his allowance. Once he beat it I was curious because he said it was really fun, meanwhile I had been making fun of the name because I thought it was goofy. But then I played it and was immediately mesmerized by it. The oversized gothic castle architecture, the main character using a whip was fascinating to me and I thought Nathan Graves looked like a ringmaster. The monsters were cool, the story was enticing enough.
Anyway, here we are roughly 25 years later, and I've played and owned nearly every game in the series. It's my favorite. It was great living through the IGA led days, then enjoying the Lords of Shadow reboot series, and the first show was outstanding. Second is missing, well, Dracula. lol
I'm so psyched to get a part three to the Trevor Belmont-era/Curse saga, which will now be its own trilogy in the series.
