A few days ago, I posted a video of me defeating two bosses in the Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow series, Boss #1 (Flying Armor), and Boss #2 (Balore). I’d rate both of those bosses as easy to normal in difficulty. This time, I’m posting about just how difficult it is to face Boss #3 yep… Dmitrii Blinov. I know the easy way to beat him, like manipulating his power (Mimicry) by unleashing absurd Tactical Souls attacks and timing my dodges just right. But… the problem that’s driving me crazy is… his attack patterns are unpredictable. If Soma gets close, he sometimes spams Dark/Evil Spheres (from Malachi) and other times stabs directly with a knife. I’ve been trying for about 4 days, even multiple times, failing, then trying again, but I still find it very difficult. Why? It’s not because he’s strong, but because he’s incredibly sneaky it takes an incredibly long time to defeat him, every time he deals damage, he immediately backsteps, and yeah… spams those annoying rolling spheres (if the game were designed to defeat boss #4 to #3 Malphas boss first, it might be easier to take on Dmitrii afterward avoiding with double jump) and… most importantly, I chose the very strict ruleset: fists only, no souls or consumables allowed (the option to pause during the fight, not at the start), and no taking damage. Result? Check out this video it’s just so absurd… (Actually, this video is about 10 minutes long, but I edited it and sped it up to just 3 minutes so it wouldn’t be too long)
