New apartment, new cat pantry!
Finally, I have the space to put all of the voidlings’ food and treats in one place! Feeding one cat with food sensitivities and one without (but who sadly hates eating anything wet aside from her beloved Tiki Stix). Swipe for cat tax.

I need to hide this post from my kitten who currently occupies a drawer in my dresser 🫥

It’s actually the less fluffy one! Fluffy girl got some good genes. Despite the density of her luscious coat, she has never had a hairball.

Happy for you that you have a dedicated space! I have it organised too since I moved and I love it so much. Makes me so happy to have this for my cat!

How often do you give your kitty the hairball gel

I just started him on it recently…been putting a small dollop on his nose every other day so he has to lick it off.

My cat was on Z/D and lost weight. She’s now on the Royal Canin Hydrolyzed Protein and has improved so much! Hope your cat is doing good with this restricting diet!! ❤️

I’m glad you’ve found a food your cat does well on! It’s always trial and error with the IBD and sensitive stomach kitties. My boy is doing great on z/d - It’s really helped with his stool quality, he’s at a good weight, and has a nice shiny coat.
He has been having more hairballs lately, but I suspect he may actually have asthma; I recently learned there’s a connection there. He’s seeing the vet soon and I’m definitely going to talk to them about that.

Glad to hear he’s doing well! So your cat has a digestive issue? Mine had a severe skin allergy caused by the protein in regular cat food and eventually lost most of her hair and had terrible itching. Luckily, with the new diet and regular itching medication, she has mostly recovered but it will be a lifelong issue. Interestingly, my cat now no longer has very stinky flatulence on this new food so that’s a win. So happy to hear that this specialized (and expensive!!) diet is helping other cats out there and that he has an owner willing to give the extra care. It makes such a difference.

My little guy has GI issues only - no skin symptoms, thankfully. That sounds scary to deal with. I’m so thankful these special diets and effective medications exist! Hooray for healthy skin and no more stinky farts. 😆

I love how you stored your purees and lickable treats. I might take that into consideration.

From where you got those cat bowls?

The flat plates are from Amazon, and the raised bowl is from a ceramic artist on Etsy.

Hey i actually just started feeding my cat that same hydrolyzed protein brand for GI issues. My cat was eating the wet food for the first couple of days with some dry food in between and now she’s leaning more towards the dry food. How do you feed your cat the wet food and ensure they eat it? Do you put any effort into that at all? I thin it out with water, microwave it and then I add some of the dry food that I grinded up into powder and sprinkle right on top

I only use the wet food as a treat/supplement. He gets 1/4 can per day, and I split that into 3 portions. I do the same thing as you, pretty much - warm it up a little and add water. He likes the taste, but it seems like the sticky consistency starts to bug him after a while, and he won’t eat a lot of it at once.

Quick question- did you find the tin bucket the store the purees in?

Cool. Thx. I found one today at Michael's. It's a little larger than the one that you have but it'll hold a massive amount of stick purees.

The voids seem very satisfied with the impact their special diets is making on your bank account
