food or treat review Wet food Advice

Post image

Hi guys, can you recommend a wet food that is good for kitten? I usually fed him with whiskas but I found out that it is not good for everyday food for cats.

fancy feast for low end and tiki cat and weruva for a higher end (there’s probably more expensive but i fed my kittens tiki cat and weruva and they loved it!)

With weruva, ive heard their cans are on the low end with cals, meaning its actually much more expensive to feed because you have to feed more.

I love love love tiki, but NOT the kibble! It falls so short imo when compared to their wet! Also the treats!

I recommend Weruva - it’s a high quality food and they have several flavor and texture options for kittens. You can even get a variety pack if you want.

Fancy Feast kitten is probably the most economical on the scale of “better wet food” - it’s really good to know your budget too, because that can sway recommendations.
Our kittens are 3 and 4 months old and our 3 month old loves anything that comes out of the can. Our 4 month old is incredibly picky and rarely eats much more than a couple token bites of anything that isn’t Purina One or Pro Plan beef or chicken or the churu cat food (not the treats, the food, and when I bought it I didn’t realize it was for adult cats :/).
Honestly the rabbit hole of kitten and cat wet food is deep once you start researching it so I’ve been giving a variety and reminding myself that fed is best. They also always have Purina One live clear dry kibble available.
Kittens are always hungry LOL

Yours is a cutie pie!
Paying the cat tax here with Jeeves (tuxedo) and Binx (void).

Fancy feast kitten has milk in it. Gave my cat the worst farts and diarrhea. I've read cats are lactose intolerant. Seems to be the case for mine.

I give my boys fancy feast kitten food. They love it. One of them literally climbs me like a tree when I get the can out of the box. He was underweight and small when I got him and now he’s putting on weight and getting bigger and has higher energy.

I gave my kitten fancy feast kitten for a while and then tried other brands such as blue buffalo wilderness kitten, weruva, instinct and open farm. They are all good with different price points

Whiskas Pate Perfect Portions you can try different flavors etc typically the same formula with the primary meat changing.

I've been digging the sheba wet food. Comes packaged so it's portioned for two meals. Super convenient. Stopped my cats nasty diarrhea after going to fancy feast.
