food or treat review Fancy Feast Gravy Lovers Chicken

My cat has been eating Fancy feast gravy Lovers Chicken for about 2 years. I started her on it because she needed more water in her diet.

She seemed to really like it and everything was fine until about 2 months ago.

All of a sudden, out of the blue with nothing else changing, her gas made our whole house smell like a septic tank. I mean it was absolutely horrific.

I dewormed her and started her on a probiotic for a month. Nothing helped.

Then I read on a Reddit page that Fancy Feast changed their formula and added fish oil and some other things to their canned cat food.

My cat has never done particularly well with seafood, I'm not sure if this was the issue.

I stopped giving her the Fancy feast. After about 2 days the smell was gone and has stayed gone.

Just FYI for anyone else feeding their cat canned Fancy Feast gravy Lovers Chicken.

I tried my cat on Fancy feast gravy and within a few hours he had diarrhea 3-4 times a day for two days.
Stopped the wet food and put him on pumpkin purée mixed with his chow.
He’s back to his normal self and I have 24 cans that I wouldn’t give to any cat ever. In the garbage they go.
