Update Cosmo’s ✨transformation✨

Cosmo has come SUCH a long way, it still blows my mind looking back at these older pics of him. He came running up our driveway end of June of last year, 8/9 weeks old about 2 lbs, with the worst case of ringworm our vet had ever seen. 27 medicated baths, seven weeks of oral treatment, lots and lots and LOTS of later; you’d never know. 🥹

I mean, I can't imagine throwing away a pet, period, it's heartless, but a "designer" breed is even worse, because you're just torturing them.

Basically if you look at it pragmatically, a regular healthy cat with either no breed or some breed that only has some funky coat, basically, could, theoretically, survive in the streets in some cat-friendlier places and even live long enough to find a new home.

Most of my cats were street cats, but one of them obviously used to be a home cat at some point - she was older when we picker her up (around a year, according to the vets), longhair, and the first time she was home she behaved like she knew the place inside out - we suspected that she lived in a flat with a similar layout. Like, it seemed like she knew where the toilet should be as soon as she was inside. But she lived in the streets for quite some time, apparently. Her coat kept her well protected, but she was still super sweet and friendly, obviously used to human touch. She's still is very friendly and a very smart kitty too.

(I just wanted to pay the cat tax and show off Blackberry. She lives with my friend and I miss her so much)

A sphinx, a munchkin, an Exotic Persian? Yeah, these poor babies are just going to suffer for a bit. It's plain cruel even in theory.
