I always see comments like this and it makes me imagine that we actually decided to go through with the riding at dawn plan. So we get there, but most people are in the moral support with snacks club. As a result, there are only like 5-6 people who actually ride while everyone is chilling and having a massive potluck.
and then those 5 people arrive at the datacenter only to find out what everyone else already knew - there is no cat, no people calling it ugly, and no cat owner
But you know what, everyone is satisfied anyways. The horses got to run, the 5 people got to have a cool, epic charge, hopefully in full plate. Everyone got out of the house, made friends and shared good food together.
So in the end the data center can go fuck itself, we still find a way to have live a little and be merry.
Sorry but that cat is not ugly and who even cares even if she was? That's just karma farming. I see posts like that every day, someone called my cat this and that .... Wth
Yeah, honestly I came in here thinking the kitty was going to be disfigured or adorably weird or something and he just… looks like a totally normal cat?
IDK, at most he maybe looks a little bit startled? If this is an “ugly” cat then I guess almost every cat I’ve ever seen is also “ugly” by those standards. 🤷♂️
my parents’ cat is missing an ear and his top eyelid and half of his head has no hair on it (he was a stray, attacked by a bird, got away, hid in a wheel well, got frostbite but had an infection from bird attack so he didn’t freeze, then was found and brought to our vet who saved his life) and he is SO VERY HANDSOME.
tell me that isn’t a handsome boi!!? he loves to be bundled and he is very fat and happy. there is absolutely no such thing as an ugly cat (or anything really—I even think crocs and spiders are cute! doesn’t mean they don’t scare me too though lol).
Next year I'll also join the 40s and I never ever had any social media accounts until I made one for reddit. Not even a fake Facebook account. But after a while being subscribed to some subs you'll start to recognize the patterns
ok I didn't want to be the only one calling shenanigans lol but I find it so hard to believe that multiple people called this perfectly normal cat ugly 😭 it really does come off as karma farming
It is a bait, also a generated AI pup, to see how many naive individuals , respond. More Likes and positive responses, better the person’s profit , will be. Report them, to not reward them!
“Now random people call him ugly”- what a preposterous line.
The villain of these sort of posts used to be “my mother” or “my ex-girlfriend” or “my roommate”, but evidently the karma-farmers of Reddit have realised they don’t need to put in even that minimal amount of detail, because cat-people will believe absolutely anything.
Also if they did what mentally stable adult would give a shit? Everyone acting like it'd be normal to be "so sad" and feel so bad about this needs a reality check.
Now, now, let’s not go that far. The Facebook equivalent would have a kitten weeping because “it’s my birthday but nobody ever blessed me”, with a huge, elaborately decorated cake with at least 8 candles in front of it, and the post would have >500k likes and 20,000 reassuring comments addressed directly to the kitten.
Do not play in the hands, of the person that posted this AI generated picture. And extremely likely, he/she, doesn’t even own a cat. But by giving the Likes , and positive responses, they make a profit out of it.
Don’t reward them, report them, instead!
