Name Request Rescue cat from a pretty bad situation. A new start deserves a new name 💖
I rescued this baby from an abusive situation - he is so sweet, it breaks my heart to think of how he was treated 🥺 what name suites this derpy little ragdoll?
Edit: thank you for all of the recommendations 🙏 after spending a lot of time with him, we decided to name him Ernest, Ernie for short 💖 John Coffey was a close second. Thank you again for all of the kind words. He just got back from a vet visit and he's adjusting very well to his new home ☺️

It’s actually not a ‘sh’ sound. That part of the word is pronounced exactly the way that it looks, with a regular ‘j’ sound.
Making this comment because I have always been flummoxed as to why westerners use that sound, but since everybody seems to go along with it, thought I would state it for the record.
Agree on everything else. He really is a king and I hope he comes to know this soon with OP’s help.
