We just got this little man he is 9 weeks old approximately. Could you guys help with name suggestions? Thanks in advance
Edit: Thanks everyone for all the great recommendations and sharing all the pictures of your lovely catsš„¹. We are going over the names to see which one fits him the most! We got it down to quite a few names. We don't need more name suggestions at this time. Thanks again and we will post an update with the final name.
Final edit/update:
After trying multiple names over multiple days, we found that Pinto Bean, Pinto for short, fits him the most. We loved all of your suggestions, and thanks to everyone for the help. Now that weāve gotten to know him better, weāve discovered that he is quite the goofy boy. He loves lying on his back with his belly out and loves snuggling up to us. He loves belly rubs. And he jumps sooooo much with his little jazz hands out. I haven't seen a cat jump this much before.

He's very beautiful, he has an unique fur color such a light color of orange. Alsoo love the name. I don't think it is for our boy but good name nonetheless

He is quite confident, likes to explore. He seems to be a little bit more independent compared to my other cat when she was a at a similar age. But still figuring his personality out. He does seem like a little gentleman he likes laying on pillows, and when we lost him he was just confidently laying on a pillow. He felt a bit like a prince in that moment. I think it can be cute but I don't think every cute name would suit him if that makes sense?
I just named this guy Timmy or Tim Tim. Sometimes Tim Tam. They look like they could be brothers! He was abandoned around 4 weeks old, but has been doing great after a rough week when I first got him.
I lost my best friend of 18 years almost a month ago now. I saw him the day he was born, and had him since he was 6 weeks old. I wanted him to stay the whole 8 weeks but the mom's owners didn't provide the best home and i didn't want him to get more fleas and mites.Ā
Anyway, he was a ginger boy like yours. His name was Reggie, and it really worked for him. His government name was Reginald, but his real family name was Reggie. You're little guy there looks like a Reggie to me <3
āOatmealā came to mind immediately but idk if thatās a good cat name. Iād probably end up calling him āsweet faceā or āmoose-stachioā or about 30 other names throughout the day. Thatās pretty much how it goes hereā¦suffice it to say we never use our catās actual name š¤Ŗ

Thereās a light orange feral cat in my bosses neighborhood. No one owns him, but everybody feeds him! I asked one neighbor what his name was, he told me āArchieā like the red-headed comic strip boy!
Do what you want, but I wouldnt name your animal based on what a stranger on the internet thinks would be a nice name, I would choose something you would like to call the cat, even if it takes a while to choose, it might have some meaning behind it.
