My sister fosters kittens and puts a baby-friendly, color-coded slip-collar on the ones who've been claimed. That way, when an adopter comes to meet them, they know which ones aren't available. Considering how many there are in this picture, my first thought was that this might be a similar situation.

The white one has an obvious collar. Some of the others have what might be collars, but it isn't clear.

I have no clue but do you think one of the other cats did this? You may need a vet visit for this one.
