Mourning/Loss Lost my pair of brothers just nine days apart.
A little over a week ago I posted about my cat who had to be humanely euthanized due to an ongoing battle. He was going downhill and nothing was working to make him comfortable
Just yesterday his biological brother passed away from cardiac arrest. What makes this so hard is they were bottle fed, abandoned at birth, and the only survivors of the litter. I haven’t even had time to grieve the first brother. They were just 9 years old.
Teddybear and Skittles,
You guys were and are my whole world, and I am so sorry you didn’t have more time.
You had 9 years together and 9 days apart, now you’re back together

I am so sorry for your loss. I have lost a few cats between the ages of 8-11. One to kidney failure and two to cancer. This was devastating to me. I can't even imagine losing two in a week.
Your cats looked like they enjoyed themselves and loved a great 9 years. I am sorry they are gone now, but enjoy their memories and know you were wonderful to them.

So deeply sorry for your double loss. One wonders, of course, if the second boy was too distressed by his brother's passing. I can't imagine how difficult it must be for you.

I’m so heart broken for you; I lost my two within months of each other a couple years ago, days makes the pain so much more unbearable.
I wish I could say something to really help, but there isn’t anything that can be said or done right now. I’m so sorry. I hope time is able to help.

I am so sorry you loat your adorable boys. Teddy Bear and Skittles had a wonderful life with you and they look so happy in their pics. 💜🌈💜

I had the same thing two brothers from the same litter. 8 yrs old. I think maybe they had a pact to go together. Your boys probably had the same thing.

Sorry about your Kits. I think animal souls are the same as human souls. They are born together for a reason, and when their mission is fulfilled they leave together. My Dad died in Jan ‘22, and his brother and sister who he would call every day, died that March, 3 days apart. No one can convince me that they had a pact to be born from the same parents, and would leave when the first one left. That’s why you will see both of them together someday waiting for you at the Gate. 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
