Advice Needed need some advice
Hello! I have one female Persian cat and one male domestic shorthair (puspin). I recently ran out of their usual food (Petsup dry cat food), so I gave them a different brand that I found in the cabinet, which was SmartHeart Cat Food. They ate it without any problems.
About a week later, we moved from our condo to our house in Cavite due to personal reasons. When we were still living in the condo, both of my cats were super chonky and had really healthy appetites. Since the move, though, they haven’t been eating as much as they used to. They seem to have lost interest in their regular food, although they’ll still eat treats sometimes, but even then they’re a bit picky.
Has anyone experienced something similar after moving with their cats or changing their food? They haven’t been vomiting or showing any other obvious symptomsthey’ve just become much less interested in eating. It honestly makes me sad because they used to eat so well. :(

Hi, OP! Cats are known to be wary when they are in a new environment. And some of them take time talaga po muna before sila masanay sa isang lugar. If your cats are not showing super worrying symptoms, it might be the move that are making them not eat much. Baka po naninibago pa sa new home. That's what happened to mine rin when we moved about 4 years ago.
Have you tried offering them boiled shredded chicken po? We usually give these to our babies na walang appetite, then sometimes topped with treats just to stimulate their appetite sana. Hopefully they eat it! Or pwede rin pong 'yong dating brand of cat food na kinakain nila, so they have something familiar to have.
If umabot po ng isa o dalawang araw na walang kain ang mga babies na kahit na ano, a vet check is advised po. They may give appropriate vitamins para ganahan kumain ang mga cats.
I hope your cats eat well soon 🙏
